Working for the client team, manage a multi-discipline team of 14 Construction & Commissioning Engineers in providing assurance of EPC Contractor's Engineering, Construction & Commissioning activities on all equipment and systems up to final handover.
• Construction & Commissioning planning, reviewing and development of: Systemisation LOSH drawings, Construction & Commissioning procedures, development of Inspection and Test Plan and check sheets.
• Project planning; provide assurance of the EPC Contractor's schedule for Construction & Commissioning activities and to meet planned contractual milestone dates. Track key activities and liaise information back to the Project Management Team.
• Assist the Mechanical Engineering Team, review static and rotating Engineering design as well as participate in Vendor inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Active member of the HAZOP, HAZID and 3D model review teams, providing mechanical, commissioning input to the studies.
• Start-up planning, developing a start-up philosophy for the safe introduction of Hydrocarbons to the new facility.

Worked for the client team, providing mechanical quality assurance of the EPC Contractor's Engineering, Construction & Commissioning activities.
• Demonstrated HSE leadership, ensuring that the EPC contractor and sub-contractors/vendors are abiding to HSE regulations/policies.
• Ensured all work was implemented as per industry standards and approved construction method statements by attending QC inspections as required by the approved Inspection Test Plans.
• Participated in tri-party punchlist sub-system walkdown at Mechanical Completion.
• Ensured rigorous implementation of approved Commissioning Method Statements and System Commissioning Procedures.
• Active member of the start up team, introduction of hydrocarbons to the plant, start-up of and performance testing.
Commissioning Engineer (Aug 09 - Jun 10)
Led a team of Engineers providing engineering and technical input to the Commissioning & Operations team.
• Pre-commissioning activities such as, line blowing and cleaning, flushing and chemical cleaning, line drying, inerting and leak testing.
• Utilised WinPCS to track progress of Commissioning activities, ensuring the timely handover of sub-systems.
• Commissioning operations that included, GE frame 7 gas turbine driven LNG compressors, Fire water system testing, start up and operation of Utilities equipment (Compressed air, Nitrogen generation, 3 x GTGs), Cool down and unloading of Ethylene and Propane.
• Generated Commissioning and operation procedures and manuals.

Assisted the Commissioning team, acting as a liaison between the Construction & Commissioning teams.
• Oversaw the successful installation of the in tank LNG pumps; plan/prepare pumps and associated equipment, assisted vendor during installation and sign-off and handover of relevant check sheets.
• Conducted problem solving/R&D on problematic tank pressure relief valves liaising with valve vendor and Corporate Engineering.
• Developed isolation schedules for Tank nitrogen purge, ran an isolation crew, developed tank monitoring systems with purging sub-contractor. Managed the set-up and successful running of tank purge.

Provided Engineering assistance to the construction of five 155, 000m^3 LNG storage tanks.
• Ensured safe working practices were followed using ISO, BS and CB&I standards.
• Provided technical assistance to the field supervision, instigated and follow-up technical queries with corporate design and construction departments.
• Developed construction method statements, plans and procedures as well as heavy lift plans
• Measured and analysed daily progress and schedule performance.
