My Main Responsibilities are:
Implementation of the Basic Literacy and Numeracy Education component
•Participate in the selection and recruitment of the teachers in the education program

•Conduct weekly and monthly visits to the field to make sure all centers respond to IRC policies and guidelines

Data collection and reporting
•In cooperation with M&E manager and Senior Integrated Officer perform base line and end line surveys at Syrian refugees ITSs and Lebanese hosting communities to identify projects beneficiaries, and prepare name lists of children in accordance with educational level and age group;
•Collect data needed for monthly and quarterly reports using dedicated monitoring tools for the CBEOs including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Satisfaction Surveys.
•Ensure the quality of data collection in the assigned locations and provide feedback on challenges in data collection processes and tools.

Coordination and representation in assigned locations
•Strengthen the relation with community, hosting community and stakeholders to seek their support to the programs implemented .
•Maintain relations with MEHE schools available within the intervention area and establish coordination mechanism through the school year.
•Coordinate arrival and visiting schedules of visitors to assigned locations, including IRC staff, donors, MEHE officials and other NGOs and INGOs personnel.

•In cooperation with M&E manager and M&E officer perform base line survey at Syrian refugees ITSs and Lebanese hosting community to identify projects beneficiaries, and prepare name lists of children in accordance with educational level and age group.

• Provide feedback on the status of the schools/classes, challenges in data collection, proposed actions and solution in the monthly meeting with the Education Manager and M&E Manager.
• Maintain relations with MEHE schools available within the intervention area and establish coordination mechanism through the whole school year
•Follow up implementation of curriculum and accordingly report on gaps and shortages, recommending remedial measures
•Recommend remedial measures to prevent school dropout and to maintain the most appropriate child safe space environment.
• Participate in formation of parents teacher committee and mother groups, and identify the role of each.
•Strengthen relation with refugees’ community and hosting community stakeholders and other community groups and seek their support to the educational program.
•Enhance chances of children enrollment into schools through organizing a promotion campaign covering all Syrian refugees ITSs and Lebanese hosting community with in the intervention area.
• Coordinate the work between various established schools at the operational and managerial levels.
•Participate in teachers’ selection process and allocation of teachers at various schools in accordance to their teaching competencies and school’s teaching loads and requirements.
• Supervise daily teaching activities and advise the Education manager on the training needs of teachers
•Supervise the assessment of teacher ‘s training needs and organize the teachers learning circle (TLC) activities on monthly bases
• Advice on proposed new schools locations, design, furniture, and other needed teaching/learning material
•Follow up on daily basis teachers’ attendance, and monitor and keep records of students’ daily attendance while ensuring all the data and students details are properly archived and saved in the students’ database in coordination with the data entry assistant and the M&E officer.
•Work in coordination with IRC protection program to follow up with parents their children attendance delinquency, and child class performance.
•Coordinate arrival and visiting schedule of school visitors mainly MEHE and NGOs visiting personnel.
