•Power systems studying including load flow, short circuits, cable sizing.
•Protection design philosophy including selectivity overcurrent and ground discriminations, bus bar and line differential RMU units for data hall and mechanical plant for MV & LV systems 66kV, 22kV & 400V.
•Review design changes and writing the design notes during the prefeasibility phases.
•Developing single diagrams and full system analysis by ETAP software.
•Producing technical documents according to the project requirement and kick off meetings.
•Arc flash analysis according to the IEEE-1584 and NFPA standard based on short circuit and relay settings coordination.
•Producing the pre commissioning documents for line and transformer differential units.
•Review MV & LV workshop drawings and develop analysis model for prefeasibility study.
•UPS systems analysis for low voltage systems for central core and RMU units and DC arc flash implementation by ETAP.
Participate in electrical systems design activities, review to meet energy motion and propulsion traction design requirements and objectives.
•Manage, review and approve the deliverables of the system suppliers.
•Support investigation for in-service and manufacturing issues and performing root cause analysis.
•Provide the organization with expert supports, technical knowledge and engineering solutions.
•Review design changes of electrical AC/DC traction systems, switchgear, transformers and associated auxiliary equipment drawings.
•Prepare equipment electrical specifications for both outline and detailed designs.
•Weekly regular technical meetings to follow the project progress and meeting the deadlines.
•Studying of power system compatibility for traction units including, tractive effort, speed estimation and power consumption.

Build up pre-commissioning documents and final commissioning reports for transformers, AC and DC motor drives systems.
•Interface design drawings, multi core cable schedules, production of termination drawings.
•Resolve equipment failure during the commissioning of MV, LV & MCC switchboards.
•Review and up‐date periodically the work time schedule.
•Participation in technical activities to ensure the project progress follows the disciplines.
•Maintain quality control of electrical standards during the installation and commissioning.
