Manage the entire Purchasing Department & oversee all aspects of the procurement/ distribution of all hotel inventories, supplies & services.
▪ Brief the CFO & Purchasing Committee on procurement, contracts, price changes & operational matters on weekly/ monthly basis.

▪ Initiated blind tasting process for first time in SL hotel chain for product/ supplier selection, ensuing build new quality-oriented supplier base at competitive prices, saving LKR 12Mn in first cycle.
▪ Initiated e-bidding system (ARIBA) to leisure sector, resulting LKR 8Mn saving in 1st cycle.
▪ Streamlined housekeeping room equipment sourcing across the group saving LKR 4Mn.
▪ Introduced structured materiel coding system & monitoring system to evaluate price changes & analyze data effectively.
▪ Maintained zero audit issues for last 7 years.
