Co-led a cadre of artists who see themselves as a business, an innovative business model developed by the founder of Z Gallery and playwright Doumafis Lafontan, adhering to the mission of supporting artists to earn a living from their art and crafts.
Managed art gallery, curated fine art shows, identified talented artists, and showcased their art. Additionally, I established network communication between artists, community members, and leaders. I facilitated the sharing of resources and services among artists. I, also, created new concepts and ideas, oversaw art classes, workshops, and provided business advice and consultation.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & African & Afro-American Studies, as well as Certificates in Peace Conflict and Co-Existence Studies, Multidisciplinary Artist from the city of Boston, Project Management (PMP), and Arabic Medical Interpreting.
