● Sassine Neighborhood Rehabilitation: 105 000m2 of which 5 000m2 newly created public spaces for the municipality of Beirut. My tasks consisted of:
- Redesigning streets and sidewalks according to traffic studies and international
standards to minimize congestion and prioritize pedestrian circulation.
- Landscape design of 3 continuous public spaces above existing roads with their
respective street elements and signage/sculptures/structures/furniture.
- Completing execution drawings in coordination with the specialized engineers.
- 3D modeling and rendering of Sassine square and surroundings.

● Al Naas Conservation: protecting Naas - a green mountainous zone rich in biodiversity and intersecting 5 municipalities from different political backgrounds - from developers and the lack of appropriate regulations. I participated by:
- Assessing the area’s current situation in terms of natural resources, biodiversity,
topography, vista, water management, and the impact of new development.
- Analyzing and criticizing existing regulations including land use ratios and building
positioning and height, to identify existing and potential problems to solve.
- Searching and analyzing similar successful projects.
- Team brainstorming and strategic thinking to find different possible solutions
against the rise of urbanization in the area, while taking into consideration the
economic impact of new policies on the 5 municipalities.
- Assisting in the policy creation and the strategy of conservation.
- Making an economic comparison between existing and proposed new regulations.
● Medawar Masterplan: 650 000m2 next to Beirut port, Medawar is the gate of Lebanon’s capital. The municipality of Beirut is accepting proposals for the rehabilitation of the area. My role consisted in assisting the lead urban designer in:
- Searching for similar successful projects around the world and analyzing them.
- Analyzing Medawar from both local and global scales.
- Preparing urban design guidelines: existing and new filling buildings - streetscape
- Concept design and development of master plan to create an attractive area with
optimal traffic circulation, public green spaces and a great quality of life.
- Economical and financial study of the project to assess feasibility and expectations
Execution detailed plans for luxurious residential projects - coordination with civil, mechanical and electrical engineers - site inspection
3D modeling and rendering (detailed interior perspectives and architectural ones) - brochures and billboards
●Design - execution detailed plans and BOQ for residential buildings in Hazmieh -
construction permits (A to Z/residential, Hazmieh) - 3D modeling, rendering, and
brochure making - religious project - interior design for an office (director’s office
and waiting room + interior divisions)
