Planet Pharmacies Group is one of the leading Pharmaceutical products retailers in KSA with more than 80
locations throughout the kingdom; they also have a greater presence in the GCC in both UAE and Oman.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
* Responsible for providing the Finance manager with timely and accurate financial reports.
* Ensure that the General Ledgers of the company are well maintained and are compliant with the Group
Accounting Policies.
* Overview/maintain general ledger and fixed assets.
* Prepare monthly financial reports.
* Supervise the daily work of the subordinate Accountants.
* Control and review all the JV prepared by Accountants.
At the time Geant Saudi were the first hypermarket in KSA and traded 11 stores throughout the country,
under Al Hokair Group banner. The business has since been bought over and all locations are now trading as
Hyper Panda.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
* Responsible to implement the Auto Replenishment for 4 stores in the Riyadh region.
* Review each stores performance and advise on areas requiring improvement.
* To manage and train stock control staff and the commercial team on the daily routines of the stock control
department and function.
* Monitoring the waste, shrink and the stock level of all stores.
* Implement and review the functionality of the blind receiving in all the stores.
* Generate weekly reports for aging stock, negative on hand, blind receiving ratio etc.
Achievements:
* Being a founding member of the stock management team in Geant enabled me to help form the stock
control policy and procedures manual for the business.
* Implement the automatic replenishment to control all buying processes.

* To perform regular supplier reconciliation statements for non-inventory and fixed assets suppliers.
