Responsible for the monthly close as well as maintenance of all accounting ledgers including monthly review of all account reconciliations and journal entries.
Preparation of all financial reports, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows, as well as the year-end financial reports.
Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets; provide corrective action recommendations to management, where necessary.
Implement Firm’s Accounting Policies and interpret guidance in regards to accounting transactions.
Ensure completion and review of all balance sheet reconciliations and identify and communicate findings.
Work with internal and external auditors during reviews and audits to ensure full cooperation from accounting staff and compliance with all qualified requests.
Maintaing accounting of receivables, payables, cash, property, plant and equipments, investments, and operating transactions according to the applicable financial reporting framework and laws, regulations and GAAP.
Preparing financial statements and accompanying footnotes according to applicable financial reporting framework.
Ability to understand work with different accounting systems.
Preparing managerial reports and financial analysis.
Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staff.
Contribute ideas/opinions to the Accounting team and listen/respond to other team members’ views.
