- Manage the overall “product management” and business development function of the Product line with focus on sustained and profitable growth of the product (focused on maximising business value).
- Responsible for product planning, business development and marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with production, to deliver winning products.
- Working closely and deliberately with 3 different groups: Project Owners (i.e. ministries and gov. entities), Project Engineering Consultants and Contractors.
- Responsible in getting the products approved and registered with all parties involved in the selling cycle mentioned above.
- Designing and executing market research projects to assess market requirements and customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions, and recommend action plans from the research.
- Identify key competitor activities
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
- Define the long term strategy of the product and create product road map.
- Develop product marketing plan and event campaigns (i.e. road shows) to generate product awareness & demand and get product approved.
- Define the Pricing Strategy and Market positioning.
- Define the Market segmentation, Local and Export.
- Work closely with production team to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including; IT, Production, Sales, Supply Chain & Operations.
- Interviewing to recruit the sales team.
- Handling the sales management in KSA and MENA region for time being.
- Evaluating the distributors and agencies criteria .
a.Plants General Managers operationally support.
b.Handling Operational support for 2 plants Dammam and Rabigh; including stuff of 250 employees.
c.Handling product department which includes, Contracts, Costing, Project management, Shipping and Site services.
d.Contracts (Customer contracts, Subcontractor contracts) Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution.
e.Supporting Sales and Marketing department in export sales follow-up and industrial projects sales closing.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
1.Responsible for All GRP operations at Dammam and Rabigh Plants which includes; Manpower requirement, Raw material orders, Production planning, Maintenance scheduling and breakdowns.
2.Mange the monthly meeting discussing backlogs and totals monthly Sales; Orders received, Machines capacity and production and delivery planning for the coming month.
3.Submit the Monthly reports; to CEO and board members.
4.Take the lead in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company; policies for new business contracts.
5.Review the Overtime hours and request justifications from each departments.
6.Maintain the awarded PO’s/Contracts from issuing the PO till delivery and payments received.
7.Maintain the Site services requirements, supervision and installation, subcontractor’s contracts.
8.Monitoring the Orders Backlogs and communicate with the sales, projects and shipping in order to achieve the orders closing.
9.Maintain the customer complaints and insure the client satisfaction.
- Managing awarded projects from the time the customer issues the purchase order till the delivery of the product to customer, ensuring timely delivery of a quality product within budget.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Review of customer PO to ensure that PO matches agreements made during estimation phase and company policy aspects, required delivery time is reasonable and achievable, all background history formed during estimation phase is well known.
- Conducting a kick-off meeting with all departments that shall contribute to the project to ensure every department knows its role and the required time of completion of its specific role.
- Issuing master schedule for projects and supervising the generation of the related detailed schedule by the production control department
- Monitoring and controlling resources to accomplish projects within budget and on time.
- Monitoring the materials procurement phase to ensure timely delivery of materials within budget.
- Monitoring factory progress in the manufacturing phase to ensure that the schedule is maintained and that registered man hours are within budget.
- Handling all customer related correspondences.
- Taking necessary actions towards any anticipated deviations.
- Issuing periodical reports to higher management to demonstrate the projects status in regards to: Schedule, Progress, Budget, and Invoicing.
• Handling all the project managements activities:
• Monitoring the production/Inspection, Notification/Requirement, Deliveries, Invoicing of the project.
• Integrate scope, time, resources and cost management into a dynamic, manageable plan
• Maintain continuous project performance and delivery control
• Accurately estimate and allocate project costs and resources
• Measure, forecast and control project performance by employing earned value techniques
• Compress or accelerate the schedule when required by adverse circumstances.
• Develop a project recovery plan for budget and schedule overruns.
• Produce clear and concise project progress reports.
• All correspondence related to site activities/NCR/Modification/requesting new material.
• Coordination with the site services Engineers to insure that the Installation works are going as per the schedule and client requirements.
• Follow up for payments in case of delays.
• Monitoring all material requisitions and coordination with procurement.
• Sending all technical queries from client to the concerned departments
• Ordering quantities for production after receiving.
• Closing Project after receiving the payment.
• Handling all the management activities related to production:
o Develop & Revise/Modify process description of all products manufactured by the company (GRE, GRP & GRV Pipes & Fittings) for standardization purposes.
o Provide estimated/ actual labors and material consumption of products of the purpose of costing.
o Following with Projects Site Services.
o Preparing production monthly reports for the managing directors.
o Handling all production management's activities related to 80-man power.
o Make sure that the production department is ready to handle required projects on time.
Develop & Revise/Modify process description of all products manufactured by the company (GRE, GRP & GRV Pipes & Fittings) for standardization purposes,
•Provide estimated/ actual labors and material consumption of products of the purpose of costing.
•Preparing Production schedules, long & short terms plans for the Projects Including the capacity of the machines & the number of manpower required for each machine and monitoring the production Quantity.
•Develop the necessary Programs for the Manufacturing department (winding, curing, shaving program etc).
•In charge of control & ordering of all the material required for the operations & coordinate between the Procurements department & the other departments.
•Time motion studies for production lines. This gives improvement for the capacity of each machine and reducing the idle time.
•Plant layout design.
•Handling all production management's activities related to 120 man power.
•Coordinate between the customers and technical department.
•Studying all enquires from customers related to the pipe standard and gives the product solutions for the customers as there applications.
•Contact the customers from time to time to see there satisfaction on company products.•
Develop & Revised Project plans based on the project requirements and critical stages.
• In charge of control & ordering of all the material required for the operations & coordinate between the procurements department & the other departments.
• Planning for the entire material requirement and handling all activities related to logistic and deliveries.
• Coordinate between the customers and technical department regarding Project plans.
