Responsible for managing the fleet operations in Amman Office to ensure the safe, efficient,
and cost-effective management of NRC vehicles & drivers for all ongoing NRC programs. In
addition to middle level procurement and the assets management of the NRC Jordan program
ensuring that the Unit4 (Agresso) enterprise software records, physical count, assets repair and
maintenance, and asset disposal are all processed and compliant with NRC and Donor regulations, and to act as the technical focal point for Unit4 system support.
Responsible to supervise procurement and related internal controls for Mercy Corps Northwest Syria and Amman regional office in accordance with latest policies and procedures, conducting and supporting the procurement processes in Northwest Syria, support for procurement team members based in Syria and Amman, assist the program activities and any field office procurement related operations.
Responsible for a variety of procurement activities locally and remotely of Mercy Corps Syria programs including facilitating the procurement and logistics aspects of Mercy Corps’ procurement operation, working closely with Programs, Administration, and Finance departments also manage and monitor activities of a remote procurement team.
Responsible to oversee, both directly and indirectly, the procurement portfolio for the entire Syria program, across multiple hubs and in different capacities. Working with in-country resources and with all operational hubs across the response and also capacity development of Procurement team members and compliance with Mercy Corps policies.
Responsible for the procurement of a wide variety of humanitarian aid related goods, maintenance, repair and operational material also capital goods, and a variety of services. Commercial contracts plus framework agreements drafting and negotiation. Handling tasks such as procurement planning, tender processing, fleet management, assets management, events planning and management.
Had a very active role during the merger of Save the Children International Jordan country office and Save the Children Jordan member office between October 2016 and February 2017, this included relocation of office equipment, furniture, preparation of new office building and related procurement and administrative activities.
Responsible for liaison with government authorities, UN agencies, foreign government agencies and local and international NGOs for transfer and distribution of humanitarian aid material through cross-border aid convoys. Handling cross-border emergency relief in conflict areas. Conducting logistical assessments, risk analysis, cost analysis.
Procurement of a wide variety of humanitarian aid related goods, maintenance, repair and operational material also capital goods and a variety of services.
Commercial contracts and framework agreements drafting and negotiation. Handling the tasks of tender processing, fleet management and assets management. Providing training in logistics for junior staff.
Responsible for a variety of logistics and procurement activities that support delivering programs that care for deprived children. Working directly with programs related to the Syrian crisis and refugees, handling cross border emergency relief, procurement for a wide variety of humanitarian aid related goods, maintenance- repair and operational material, capital goods and a variety of services. In addition, developed skills in commercial contracts and framework agreements drafting plus open tender processing.
Managing three warehousing facilities (approx. 8000 sq. meter) that provide third-party logistics services for several client accounts with brands such as BlackBerry, SAMSUNG, XEROX, Hewlett-Packard, MANGO women clothing, and APPLE with an inventory worth of 25 million USD.
Managing the client account Alcatel Lucent telecommunications and mobile network equipment, with an inventory worth of 10 million USD.
Responsible to scan the Levant market for potential partners or agents to represent the MANN FILTER brand in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
