Work as Safety Superviosr in Masco Central workshop.

• Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Standards, policies, programs are being implemented in the areas of responsibility.
• Functionally reports to Division Head all concern pertaining to health and safety.
• Report all OH&S related matters to Head Safety Officer (General Affairs Dept.).
• Conduct regular safety inspection/patrol at area of responsibility to check.
• Investigates cause and effect of reported accident/incident(s) and recommends control programs to prevent reoccurrence.
• Perform hazard identification, risk assessment and recommend control programs.
• Ensure that employee’s working environment is being monitored for health hazard conditions.
• Responsible in the checking and approval of work permit to be conducted in areas of responsibility.
• Participates in the development and review of company safety standards, procedures and regulations.
• Conduct safety orientation and training.
• Organize and ensure training of Emergency Response Team in fire-fighting and for other emergency situations.
• Ensure that all fire early detection and fire-fighting equipment in areas of responsibilities are in good operating condition.
• Ensure that all components of means of Egress (emergency exits) are in good condition, unobstructed and available to use in time of emergency.
• Deputized by the management to issue corrective actions, memorandum to those employees violating the safety policies and regulations.
• Has the authority to cease/halt any construction, alteration, repair and installation works in case of violation of safety practices, regulations and standard.
• To stop any operation or activity which has imminent danger to the employee/s which may lead to serious accident/injury and/or fatality.

• Co-ordinate and conduct inspections/audits of facilities and activities to ensure compliance to safe and good work practices in accordance to statutory requirement of the Factories and Machinery ACT and all safety Procedures.
• Assist in accident investigation, reporting and monitor their follow up in accordance to safety procedures.
• Give safety presentation with the objective to enhance the Health, safety and Environment awareness of all workers.

• In charge of inspecting site conditions to determine if hazards are present and to establish procedures and policies to overcome those hazardous situations.
• Observes workers to ensure that they are wearing required personal protective equipment and following company safety policies.
• Conducts accidents investigation and making reports.
• Provide training on dozens of safety topics.
• Implement and enforce policies that reduce the risk of accidents.
• Performs emergency response drills.
• Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
• Inspection of Scaffolding.
