WORKING FOR GLOBAL COMPUTER SERVICES IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - SEPTERMBER 2013
AT PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT OMAN (PDO)
IT SUBSURFACE SUPPORT ENGINEER - SEPTERMBER 2014

I have been at petroleum development man (PDO) during the period from SEPTERMBER 2013
as IT Helpdesk Support engineering information management, telecom system and
networking support.
I have under gone various Customer Service Oriented training as well as Technical Training
on HP Service Desk, Cisco IPCC (IP based Call Center), Telecom System, windows Desktop
Platform, Citrix based thin environment and industry specific applications.
SEPTEMBER 2014 MOVED TO SUBSURFACE SUPPORT (DIFFERENT TEAM)
Main responsibility
• 1st line support which will include
o Receiving & Registering calls
o Distribute the calls to 2nd line and close them once done
o Offering applications
o Basic windows support like repair application and profile renaming..etc
o Updating the Configuration Items of application
o Raise Change controls
o Follow up with users after fixing the problem by 2nd line support.
o Responsible for subsurface positional email.
o Additionally in the future task my change or added according to business requirements and the ability to learn
• Communications & coordination.
o Update users with latest changes via email & website
o Update user list in SCCM
o Call focal points and users for customer satisfaction survey
o Handling the subsurface web updates( updating the information in the web and keep it up to date)
