•Plans, directs and manages the activities of assigned personnel in the laboratory. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authorities at the level established by managements.
•Approving sampling and testing programs in accordance with international standard procedures for LNG shipped product, gas, amine, lube oil, Heating oil, Hydrocarbon condensate, water, Sulfur and Environmental samples. In addition to analysis of various non routine plant samples. Ensures laboratory equipment calibration plan is performed.
•Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with the company HSE policy. Provide planned monthly safety inspection to confirm laboratory workplace is safe.
•Plans, organizes and ensures the correct recording and communication of test results to concerned parties. Checks daily lab analysis and confirm the necessary action as required. Assures export LNG cargoes quality certificates.
•Advises operation on the correct operation of process and utilities units with respect to plant stream quality. Participates in investigations with others departments to ensure plant problems are resolved.
•Ensures regular update of laboratory manuals such as ISO 17025 technical and management procedures, procedures for sampling and analysis and lab safety instructions.
•Controls the inventory and storage of chemicals testing apparatus, equipment spare parts and glassware in laboratory and ensures the efficient inventory level are maintained.
•Plans and control laboratory operating and capital budget. Provide management with three years plan.
•Conducts local and international correlation tests for LNG, Propane and Mixed refrigerant.
•Ensures that competency of lab personnel to evaluate them and prepares annual appraisal.
•Preparing laboratory monthly report.
•Develop and validate analytical methods.
•Responsible about Lab information management System StarLIMS.
•Internal auditor refer to ISO 9001 and 17025
