I am working as Manager Accounts/Import & Export at Royal International (Plastic Manufacturing Company) my job responsibilities entailed:
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs;
Prepare and analyze monthly Management Accounts (Profit & Loss, statement of financial position) in accordance with IFRS/IAS;
Conduct quarterly stock take, stock valuation and prepare quarterly financial statements.
Handle and supervise day to day functioning of the Accounts department
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting Systems, making use of current computer technology.
Maintaining good relationship with suppliers through timely payment and resolving any issues.
Interact with company banking and financial partners for credit line for import of (Plastic) Raw Material through Letter of Credit (Lc)
Costing and recording of raw material imported through L/C in accounting software and reporting on monthly basis to Management on any cost variances.
Preparing Export Documents, commercial Invoice, Packing list, sales tax invoice and Certificate of origin and tracking receipt of online credit transfers
Coordinate and work with other managers and director to achieve company’s objectives
Monitor the processing of import and export
I have worked as a Supervisor in the Assurance and Advisory Unit of Agha Mujeeb & Co. Chartered Accountants in Pakistan, executing audit and assurance engagements with particular focus in the, Construction, Production, Service and NGO sector. I have led large teams through the planning, execution and completion stages of Financial Audits.
My job responsibilities entailed:
Engagement planning and management to ensure timely execution and reporting;
Preparation of audit deliverables;
Review of areas to be audited and identification of risks and controls;
Testing the compliance of existing internal controls;
Effectively communicating with the Assurance Partner and/or Assurance Manager with respect to the engagement process - risks, issues, estimated time of completion and any contentious matters;
Conduct review of the work performed by the team members and monitor their performance;

Performing review of internal control and risk management procedures identifying weaknesses therein and communicating those weaknesses along with recommendations to those charged with governance and management on a timely basis;
Assisting the clients in the reporting of financial and accounting information;
Advise the client on various technical issues relating to IFRS and other statutory requirements
