Solution Governance:
• Assurance that both existing and new infrastructure services are fully standardized, optimized for both price and
performance, and are closely aligned to the overall Enterprise Architecture.
• Working closely with internal and outsourced partners to ensure that the agreed Enterprise Infrastructure
Architecture is implementable and remains fit for purpose at all times
• Regular review of existing platforms and recommendations on improvements as necessary, to promote
standardization and more optimal usage of infrastructure resources.
• Provide sign off for new solutions as part for the Transition and Change Management.
Global Transformation programs:
• Acting as a leading member of a Global Architecture Board for largest IT transformation programs in Zurich
Insurance group’s history which includes several towers such as global datacenter migration and consolidation,
digital transformation, user mobility, cloud integration and mobile.
People Management:
• Leading of geographically dispersed team of Infrastructure, Application, Datacenter and Middleware Architects
based in Iberia and Latin America countries
• Management of Zurich’s outsourced vendors and providers in the areas of architecture, technology and
standardization assurance.

P&L of the business unit.
• Identify / track industry trends and develop opportunities and business strategies to deliver new viable
solutions and services to the market to address demand.
• Partner with various vendors understanding the products and services offering to customers. Manage
relationships with current vendors as well as lead the evaluation and introduction of new vendors.
• Provide strategic level technical leadership on selection, design, development and integration of the strategic
technology platforms.
