• Receiving Field Inspection Request, QA QC Reports and checking the approval & comments of the consultants
• Prepare monthly Valuation accordance to standard method of measurements (SMM7, CESMM, NRM & POMI)
• Quantity reconciliation with consultant to finalize the quantity & raise Interim payment application in accordance with Client/Consultant procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain a better results & effect to the company in case if needed ie. QA/QC depart, Engineering depart, ect..
• Make joint measurement with sub-contractors in case if needed & prepare work done sheet as per the BOQ items
• Checking Sub contractors bills & approve Sub contractors payments
• Act as a media among sub-contractor, Main contractor & consultant
• Material at site inspection with consultant & Keep records of Material at site

Department: Tendering & Estimation Department (August/2009 to May/2011 & January/2012 to May/2013)
Report to: Tendering & Business Development Manager

Duties include all activities from receiving tender up to submission as follows but not limited to:
• Checking, referring and comparing of Tender drawings with BOQ & Specification
• Checking of Bill of Quantities for various technical services works
• Prepare Tender Queries to client when any clarification needed or in case of
found any discrepancies among tender documents
• Take off Quantities from Tender drawings and prepare comparative Bill of Quantities
• Preparing material breakdown for civil and MEP works to finalize the actual cost
• Sending RFQ & Communicate with subcontractors & suppliers in order to provide the best quotations
• Preparing Price comparison with suppliers & sub contractors prices handling with various factors in order to ease of evaluate them
• Evaluation of suppliers & sub-contractor's competitive prices & Select a suitable competitor.
• Rate analysis for various works
• Estimate the final price of project using RAI Estimation Systems
• Prepare needful documents for the Technical Submission like… (Method statement, Suppliers & Cob contractor list, Pre Qualification, Organization chart & etc...)
• Co Ordinate with Financial department to receive Tender Bond, Bank Facilities & Insurance.
• Responsible for various Tenders (Roads with all utilities & Highway Structure, Sewerage Scheme, School, Market & Ware house).

Duties include as follows but not limited to:
• Receiving Inspection Notification and check the approval & comments of the consultants
• Prepare & Maintain Progress report
• Make Valuation, check with consultant to finalize & raise Interim payment in accordance with Client/Consultant procedures
• Attend Client/Consultant monthly progress meeting & clarification meeting
• Identify & Evaluate the variation from the BOQ & actual execution at site and submit variation application to the consultant
• Prepare a revised BOQ with cost breakdown for the variation items to ease of evaluation
• Make joint measurement with sub contractors in case if needed & prepare work done sheet as per the BOQ items
• Checking & approve variation application of Sub contractors and sending variation order
• Checking Sub contractors bills & approve Sub contractors payments
• Analyze each Item of BOQ in accordance prime resource in 4M system (Material, Machinery, Manpower, and Method )
• Assist to Technical Manager to prepare Cash flow & Budget
• Act as a media among sub contractor, Main contractor & consultant

Project: Construction of Residential Buildings in Various Areas in Sri Lanka (Housing Scheme)

Duties include but not limited to:
• Estimate quantity of materials for construction requirements
• Taking off quantities as per SMM7 to prepare work done sheet & for finalizing the
Subcontractor works
• Preparing Interim Valuations with work done sheet to claim payments from client
• Prepare Contractor’s payments application & submit to the consultants
• Checking and certifying Sub Contractor’s Monthly Valuation
• Joint measurement and Certification of Sub Contractor’s interim payments
• Correspondences to Consultant and sub-contractors
• Identifying and tacking off quantities of Variations
• Cost breakdowns & Rate analysis for Additional work and variations
• Negotiate with Suppliers & Sub Contractors regarding price of additional items
• Negotiate with Consultants & submit variation claims
• Checking & approve sub contractors variation
• Monitoring & Supervision of work on site
