CAD designer Window And Split A/C design
Responsibilities
I was involved in generating 3D models & detail drawings in Pro-E/Creo Parametric 3.0 for the following components :
Sheet metal components: Base plate, Shroud condenser, Partition, Blower Housing Shell Cabinet, Control cover, Header Plates, Hanger plates, Fan Motor Mounting Bracket, etc.,
Refrigeration components: Piping Process for A/c Unit, Evaporator coils, Condenser coils, Header Tube Assy, U-Tubes, Tube Connectors, 2-Way, 3-Way, 4-Way Connectors, Distributors.
Inspecting The Samples Received from Vendors.
Modifications of Window A/c Unit components as per Engineering Requirements.
Converting existing Old Window A/c 2D drawings to Creo Parametric 3D Models.
Design Tool: Creo 3.0, Auto cad & Ms Excel.
Presently I am serving industry as TEAM LEAD Engineer managing the design team of well-trained CAD Drafting engineers. Strong Design background and adequate manufacturing/product development exposure in Tower Cranes. Support current and new product design and development projects. Responsible for the best Quality Checking outcome on engineering activities apart from estimation of project engineering hours.
Able to work and guide a team of Engineers within the company and partner associates, work in close coordination with Program Management staff to ensure timely delivery of projects & have a good understanding of concepts.
Working on CAD tools like AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor 2012, Pro-E Wildfire 4.0. I am having strong knowledge in Component drawings. General Assembly & Sub assembly drawings. Fabrication drawings. Converting 2D drawings to 3D models. Converting Hard copy drawings to 2D drawings or 3D models. Detailing of the 3D models.

I have worked as a Design engineer under Design and Development Department for Cable Harness.
My job responsibilities are Design Evaluation, Costing Estimation and Preparation of Cable Harness Assembly Drawings, Bill Of Materials, Internal Inspection Documents, Cable Harness Routing process, and all other evaluation processes related to Design and Development Department.
I was involved in generating 2D Drawing, 3D Modeling of components, Sub assemblies & General assemblies of Defense Grade Shelters used for housing field electronic equipments of Radar/Communication and Missile projects & have successfully designed, fabricated, tested and supplied a variety of shelters for a number of Defense/civilian applications.
Stage inspection of Shelters/Containers. Customer inspection. Final inspection.
Creating 2D drafting of Components, Sub assemblies, General Assemblies.
Generating P&I drawings of hydraulic/oil lubrication systems in AutoCAD 2000 & Mechanical Desktop.
Maintaining a catalogue of all systems, Drafting activities like updating, record maintaining, Raising ECN, releasing of drawings.
