The role involves the sourcing of Banana & Pineapple categories for Asia Tesco stores.
Manage the Grower/Service Provider sites for all Technical/Ethical audits.
Inspect the imported bananas at arrival and give feedback to the grower.
Prepare the bananas for Ripening and do the gassing for de-greening.
Responsible for the quality inspection of all bananas received from various suppliers.
Provide QC reports to top management.
Assist the Representatives during third party claim inspection.
Ensure that All wharf operations adheres to the standard set by the company.
Conducts safety and implements company policy related to/and relevant to the wharf operations.
Ensures that vessl loading will not be delayed.
Perform QC and Production reports for Chiquita brands in the Philippnes. Review/ Survey areas with poor results in the market. Acts in behalf of the project coordinator in his absence. Attend Quality Management Meet as representative of the brand.
