• Grow and profitably maintain general industrial business in existing sales base.
• Prospect for new business opportunities while managing existing customer base.
• Work through the sales process to identify, quantify and justify the appropriate value proposition for the customer matching their needs with our capabilities to provide a solution in orders basis or annual contracts.
• Implement growth plans that are commensurate with the overall directives of the business.
• Develop strategies to support the profitable growth of product lines.
• Have/Develop knowledge of the market and on the major applications & technologies that are typically found in the assigned market.
• Managing the operation of projects :
- Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule for the project team.
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
- Progress control of activities & observing specifications.
- Utilization of resources effectively & efficiently.
- Making sure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget.
- Working with legal departments on any matters that occur.
- Making sure safety regulations are followed .
- Working with department heads and senior management to get the best performance from staff.
- Follow up customer satisfaction Investigations and ensure solutions are implemented.
- Ensuring the business operates within the company's mission statement.
EXTRA DUTIES AS :
• Document Controller
Maintain and manage all important documents for a particular project and assure that it is easily accessible and stored, including:
- Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control Procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
- Generate the various document control reports as required.
- Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
• Expeditor
Expedite activities to meet the project’s schedule, including :
- Remain in contact with contractor/client to make sure that the project is smoothly running according to schedule.
- Utilize information and work collaboratively with others.
- Frequently follow up with team members (Engineering, Procurement, and Production) to ensure that delivery will be completed on the agreed date.
- Assist management & staff to speed up production & service to improve client satisfaction.
- Provided outstanding support with minimal supervision.
• Participate in managing the operation of one or more project, including:
- Planning and scheduling.
- Estimation of timelines & manpower.
- Progress control of activities & observing specifications.
- Preparation of progress reports & time schedules.
- Following up outsourcing jobs.
- Utilization of resources effectively & efficiently.
- Focal point among different team members.
- Preparation and Issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotations.
- Document controlling.
- Coordinate with personnel department for issuing the required documents for team members.
- Following with Finance department for payments.
- Supervising stores for received & dispatched material.
- Establish and maintain good working relationship with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors and project team.
- Operate in line with the company procedures, targets, objectives and quality policies.
- Updating of progress/obstacles to unit manager.
• Key point of contact between organization and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.
• Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
• Reviewing sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
