•Overseeing daily operations of Maintenance Department like planning, evaluating lines and evaluating team performances
•Offering guidance & ensuring timely completion of the assigned project
•Attending daily maintenance & production meetings and reporting the same to the Department Manager for planning the daily activities of maintenance team and executing the same
•Ensuring maintenance, repairs, installation, testing and operations of equipment within the defined time frame
•Determining the requirement of tools & equipment in the department
•Implementing & developing equipment preventive & productive maintenance programs, maintenance integrity programs, work organization & manpower utilization and ensuring that the documents are updated regularly
•Preparing & presenting department performance KPI reports and technical presentation to the CMT
•Framing strategies for improving overall reliability & safety of equipment, personnel & production process and reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns
•Developing reports for maintaining annual budget and control spending throughout the year
•Monitoring & controlling maintenance costs by offering technical sound solutions for driving cost down improvements
•Leading new local developed spare parts releases and trials based on approved TR documents
•Maintaining spare parts consumption control and expenditures reduction for increasing profit margin of the company
•Conceptualizing & implementing policies, standards and procedures for engineering and technical work performed in the department
•Identifying areas that require SOP documentation and assigning the same
•Executing & supervising drafts revision and release of new documentation
•Reviewing & updating existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Out of Action Control Plans (OACPs)
•Coordinating & offering guidance for different project activities like new machine installation, M/C modification & improvements to be executed
•Interacting with the customers/suppliers for machine spares related matters, parts modification and local development
•Performing administrative functions like reviewing & writing reports, enforcing rules, requesting for expenditures and making decision about the purchase of materials or services
•Monitoring & determining review re-order level for machine parts
•Recommending training courses for staff to ensure that they are adequately equipped to handle the job requirement
•Directing the team and integrating skills & strengths of individuals for projects & organization success
