- Maintaining the confidence and cooperation of the branch members;
- Holding training courses and seminars for researchers
- Project Management:
- Preparing proposals based on client’s briefs and RFPs
- Suggesting methods to address the clients’ needs and objectives
- Developing / supervising preparation of research materials (recruitment screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires, stimulus materials….etc)
- Moderating In-depth interviews and Focus groups discussion
- Supervising the fieldwork activities
- Analysing data
- Writing analytical reports in both languages (Arabic and English)
- Proofreading of reports prepared by seniors

- Paying Weekly visits to Jails to check on the prisoners and assist them in getting repatriated
- Daily visits to General Security (Detention Camp)
- Following cases with the Insurance companies
- Representing the Embassy in the courts through Attending inquiry sessions and defending the Domestic Workers
- Coordinating with CARITAS and other humane organizations
- Preparing funerals and dispatch of Human remains
- Settling disputes between Sri Lankan Domestic Workers and Sponsors and Agencies
- Assisting Counsellor Employment & Welfare and First Secretary (Labour)
- Drafting formal letters to General Security, Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Interior Affairs
- Setting up appointments, attending meetings, interpreting and preparing minutes of meetings
- Translating letters and correspondence (Arabic to English and vice versa)
- Preparing monthly reports on activities carried out by the Labour Section
