• Responsible for Tanks, Structural and Piping fabrication, installation and testing.
• Participate in material procurement, project base line plans and schedules.
• Estimated, prepared and assigned resources like manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc.
• Preparation of Hydro test packages, Method statements, water management plan and Task risk assessment in compliance with client specification, quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements.
• Review of Project specification and P&ID, SPR 3D Models, Pre-commissioning drawings.
• Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports.
• Handling all technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
• Ensuring safety and quality at work place.
• Handling Tanks, Steel and related Piping fabrication, installation and testing.
• Coordination with client, design, procurement team.
• Estimated, prepared and assigned resources like manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc.
• Interaction with vendors & sub-contractor for finalising t the agencies.
• Ensured that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.
• Preparation of:
• Daily, weekly, monthly progress & productivity reports, Client & sub-contractor billing
• Erection schedule in consultation with clients and review the quality of erection & reviewing the piping work as per client procedure and project specification.
• Preparation of looping drawings, conducting hydro, pneumatic tests, cathodic protection for underground piping.
• Regulating Steel and Piping fabrication and erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with Standards, Procedures, Specifications, Priorities and availability of Construction Drawings.
• Estimated, prepared and assigned resources like manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., done site audit and feasibility studies before implementing plant.
• Interaction with vendors & sub-contractor for finalizing the agencies.
• Preparation of:
Erection schedule in consultation with clients and review the quality of erection & reviewing the piping work as per client procedure and project specification.
Preparation of looping drawings and test packages for conducting hydro, pneumatic tests, chemical cleaning and flushing of hydraulic, lubrication and utility lines.
• Managed fabrication and erection of piping systems.
• Erection of Mechanical and Piping Equipment’s as per approved drawings and having complete knowledge in understanding the schemes and drawings.
• Monitored site activities in accordance with the project schedule.
• Supervised the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress.
• Carried out the review of P&ID's, layouts, GADs, isometrics and various piping related drawings.
• Executed unit piping and rack piping.
• Developed the material take off (MTO) and handled documentation control of piping & other disciplines.
• Managed the walk down punches by QA/QC and cleared the punches before hydro test.
• Involved in drying the line after hydro test and preceding with the re-instatement.
• Preparation of field piping system test packages, including system limit on P&ID and piping Isometrics.
• Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
• Ensure that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.
• Performing hydro, pneumatic, helium tests and Pre-commissioning activities (air blowing/ blasting and water flushing).
