Independently Managing the Project Reporting to
Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program
Project Details: Enhancement of sewerage system in Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand the application of the Health and Safety legislation & Code of practice relevant to the business.
Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Director responsible for Health and Safety any
relevant new legislation.
Ensure that all “assessments” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the
same.
To recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to employees.
Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s operations.
Immediately contact the Director responsible for health and safety if situations are found, that in the opinion of the Safety Manager,
require immediate rectification or the stopping of any operation.
To notify the Director responsible for health and safety if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not
implemented by the arranged date.
To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
Advise the Company Secretary of all incidents reportable under Reportable Incidents.
To arrange Health surveillance as instructed.
To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Codes of Practice, or
H.S.E. guidance.
To bring new techniques for improving health, safety and welfare to the attention of the Director responsible for health and safety.
To set a personal example by wearing appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observing all safety
requirements/procedures.
Planning and arranging training on possible hazards and emergency procedures and job-site hazard identification procedures.
Ensure Report are provided to client on monthly, Audit are taking place and Trend analysis is done on monthly basis.
Palm Jumeirah Monorail and Gate tower Project
Project Details: Construction of Podium and monorail station and mixed use residential Building (30 Floors)
Key Responsibilities:
Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and
procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
Provide support to the dept on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc
Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
Implementing work Permit system in keeping with project requirements and controlling of PTWS.
Investigating and analyzing of all near miss / LTI / Fatal / dangerous occurrence and recommending appropriate corrective measures.
Attending weekly progress meetings and coordinating with the Project Execution team.
Using corrective checklist to inspect all types of equipment and tools on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Adopting specific safety recognition programs to promote employees interest in safety
Palm Jumeirah underwater tunnel Project
Project Details: Construction of underwater Tunnel connecting to Palm Crescent and Trunk.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and
procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
