• Planning and managing Marine Logistics activities/ operations: Vessel Movements like Sail-in, Sail-Out, ballasting de-ballasting of cargo barges/ FTBs, Barge/ FTB/ Tug Surveys, arranging and Monitoring for bunker supply.
• Planning Barges/ FTBs lineup to the Breakwater and following their movement with lighterage operation from anchorage to Jetty.
• Proper cargo storage & plot management/ Intercarting.
• Coordinating with commercial team for purchase of material and services, monitoring & follow up for chartering vessels based on project requirements & arrangement of Fuel and Fresh Water, Mooring requirements.
• Surveys- Coordinating with surveyors for various Surveys (On/ Off-hire, IRS Towing Survey, bunkering, warranty, Valuation, etc.).

• Managing overall marine/ terminal operations and overall Customer satisfaction related to Vessel/ Terminal performance.
• Lead the safe, effective, efficient and profitable production operation of a Vessel/ port terminal facility by managing all aspects of the terminal to meet customer and throughput commitments.
• Monitoring Port Operations like vessel receiving, barge/ vessel loading/ discharge, port safety, Port Policies, Customs Rules and Regulations etc.
• Coordination & Liasoining with various agencies like vessel agents, customs, CHAs.
• Managing contractors carrying out Vessel/ Terminal operations.
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services to meet customer requirements.
• Vendor Negotiations.
• Yard Management.
• Yard Planning/ Optimum use of yard face with Maximum Output.
• Laisoning with Customs officials for smooth clearances of the shipments for timely deliveries to the customers.
• Continuous effort in reducing the Operational Cost.
• MIS Reports/ laytime calculation.

• Managing the daily operations according to the agreed operating principles of the business & relationships with customers.
• Coordinating & monitoring Port Operation & cargo dispatches.

• Coordinating for accurate & timely e-waybill & invoicing in Navision.

• Monitoring Marine (Vessel/ Barge/ Floating Crane/ Tug) Operations & Port Operations and Logistics Operations.
• Planning Barge’s (Vessel’s) lineup to the Mother Vessel and following their movement with lighterage operation from anchorage to Jetty upto plot.
• Co-ordinate & follow up with the Port officials, Customs, Handling Agent to avoid delay in berthing of the Barge/ Vessel.
• Attend daily berthing meetings with the marine operations & liner agents to plan vessel berthing & sailing schedules considering the allotted window period for various services.
• Efficiently communicating with owners, charterers, receivers, C&F's and all other concerned for ensuring smooth Barge operation at Port.
• Prepare stowage/stevedoring operations plan and issuing to supervisors.
• Follow up with the Port Authorities for quicker Discharging/ Loading of the cargo.
• Liaising with transport department of the organization to ensure timely delivery of Cargo.
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Fuel statements of Barge’s, equipment’s used & Floating Crane’s and TUG’s for cost calculation and billing.
• Calculating Royalty for Floating Crane & Haldia Floating Terminal Pvt Ltd (HFTPL) and Port.
• Coordinating for accurate & timely data entry in Excel & Techinfer and SAP.
• Timely sending various reports as per the procedure.
