• Actively involved in pre commissioning and commissioning activity preparation of Olefins plant including Furnace refractory dry outs, CGC dry air run, turbine solo run, pre commissioning/commissioning of utilities including steam, instrument air, cooling water ( FRP system), fuel gas system, cryogenic area, punching of cold section responsible for accepting cold area from EPC.
• Responsible for first start up of equipments/sections safely and maintain the same and carry out performance test for sections/equipments.
• Co ordination with Rotating / Maintenance/Instrument and other department to resolve critical issues during pre commissioning / commissioning/start up and normal operation.

• Pre commissioning/ commissioning of VHP, HP steam lines as per specific requirements of steam turbines. Inspection of target plate.
• Preparation of system for charging various utilities & hydro carbon.
• Pre commissioning/commissioning of double wall storage of ethylene and transport facility for shipping. Actively involved with first ethylene ship loading and unloading operation.
• Commissioning and start up of Furnace/CGC compressor/C2R and C3R compressors, Cold Section, Chilling trains, expander booster compressors.
• Stabilization of operational philosophy between different units, like steam and fuel gas load shedding.
• Planning and execution of annual turnaround.
• Coordinating with feed stock provider for supply of feed.
• Approval and execution of field change orders.
• Task force member of IMS committee (Integrated management system) successfully implemented ISO: 9001-2000/14001 & OHSAS 18000. Preparations of necessary documentation to stream line the system. Achieved five stars rating of British safety council (BSC).
• Optimizing the utilities & chemicals to reduce variable operating cost.
• Regularly carrying out reliability assessment of various equipment's to increase on-stream factor.
• Carrying out Risk assessment of new operation.
• Scheduling preventive maintenance jobs in coordination with maintenance/reliability department.
• Review and analysis of process operating data.
