● Administration of chemotherapy and medications through all routes.
● Administration of blood and blood products.
● Care of all types of central venous catheters.
● Porta Cath access and care.
● Peripheral IV cannulation.
● Withdraw peripheral blood specimens.
● Central line and Hickman line care.
● Perform pediatric patient holistic assessment.
● Management of chemotherapy side effects.
● Care for patients with cancer related pain.
● Manage nursing care for immunocompromised patients.
● Manage nursing care for patients at risk for/with oncology emergencies.
● Patient and family education.
● Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of oncology patients.
● Monitor, record and report changes in patients’ conditions.
● Record patients’ medical information and vital signs, utilizing electronic health information systems (Meditech).
● Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
● Direct and coordinate infection control programs, advising and consulting with specified personnel about necessary precautions.
● Assist in examining and treating patients.
● Prepare patients for tests, therapy or treatments.
● Maintain confidential medical records.
● Booking and following up on patients’ tests and conditions.
● Administration of medications through all routes.
● Peripheral IV cannulation.
● Perform adult patient holistic assessment.
● Patient and family education.
● Daily checking like specimens, crash cards, blood and samples.
● Reply to the messages from the call center which is special requests from patients.
