Eltizam provides property management, facilities management, energy management and sales and leasing services through a number of specific market leading companies (Three60 Communities, Tafawuq Facility Management, RE/MAX)
• Manage the day-to-day running of the QHSE Department and 5 staff members including but not limited to:
o providing independent professional advice and technical information where appropriate to all concerned to enable the Group to discharge its statutory, common and moral obligations, keeping everyone abreast of changes in HS&E, Legislation and Codes of Practice;
o devising, developing and monitoring effective HIRA (Hazard Identification/Risk Assessment) management strategies and making recommendations and assisting with the implementation of such;
o managing the development, implementation and maintenance of the approved AD EHSMS management system;
o reviewing the business continuity elements in respect of HSE to ensure consistent and uninterrupted performance of staff and contractors;
o monitoring the HSE compliance of sub-contractors and a member of the Technical Committee for selection of new contractors;
o setting and monitoring of corporate, departmental and individual objectives and KPIs;
o assisting with the development and mapping of operational process maps and ensuring they align and interact with other departments;
o creating and maintaining the legal, health and safety risk and environmental aspect and impact registers;
o developing and delivering safety training, evacuation strategies and conducting drills for emergency response;
o possessing sound organisational skills and promotion of the management control measures;
o accident, incident and near-miss investigation and reporting;
o maintaining accident statistics, analyse trends and propose and take remedial action where necessary;
o chairing weekly and monthly safety/security meetings to continually manage, assess, improve HSE around the community;
o working with the Property Management Department on the implementation of community security rules and regulations;
o setting up and providing information and direction to company personnel on data and records management;
o recruiting staff and training them appropriately to ensure competent work output;
o developing staff development programs such as skills enhancement training and sessions;
o ensuring all operational records are properly and accurately maintained in UBERIQ and SAP systems;
o providing HSE management for new and upcoming projects including setting up systems and providing HSE advise and guidance.
• Management Representative responsible for managing the development, implementation, certification achievement and maintenance of Group-wide Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, OHSAS 18001 SMS) with duties including but not limited to:
o monitoring and following up on customer feedback and complaints;
o managing, planning and undertaking internal and supplier audits;
o reporting to the top management during management review;
o liaison with external agencies in connection with integrated management system;
o ensuring that all the employees are aware of the customer requirements along with top management and relevant personnel;
o acting as member secretary to the management review meeting;
o reporting on the performance of the integrated management system, which also forms the basis for the improvement of the integration;
o writing, compiling and maintaining the master copy of the IMS manual, procedure and records of management review meetings;
o issue and control of the IMS manual and associated documentation;
o report writing and distribution of preventive/corrective actions raised during Management Review.
o learning and preparing for future ISO standard implementation such as ISO 55001 Asset Management System and ISO 50001 Energy Management System.
Zayed University consisted of 30 buildings including teaching buildings, recreation centre, libraries, convention centre and service buildings
• Managed the development, implementation and maintenance of the company wide IMS management systems;
• Oversaw the delivery of the company’s and University’s emergency program activities, such as emergency and fire plans;
• Oversaw the delivery and on-going certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 Standards;
• Assessed existing QHSE systems and policies for regulatory compliance, fit for purpose and ease of use and made recommendations as necessary;

• Achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification in 2011. QMS Activities include but are not limited to:
o Acting as Management Representative and sole administrator of the QMS to ensure ongoing corporate and company-wide compliance;
o Conducting regular ISO 9001 QMS Internal Audits and managing a team of 8 internal auditors including review and assessment of reports and follow-up actions;

• Developed and implemented the Business Management System (BMS) on a regional basis for all contracts operating within the notional region including a Structures Framework Agreement between Network Rail and May Gurney, worth over £25m;
