Working in the capacity of Procurement Manager with a team of 8 senior and junior procurement executives.
Attended audit for procurement dept ISO 9001-2000 and was responsible for the implementation of the same for the procurement Department.
Handling complete leasing of Apartments, Leasing of vehicles, Leasing of Heavy equipment, Life support services etc.
Presently handling leasing of 1200 apartments, villas etc and 850 vehicles including heavy equipments for the US Govt. and contractors ITT, CSA, GMASS, TACSWACAA, MEO, L3 Communications Vertex, CAV International, Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc, BAE systems, Northrop Grumman, Tapestry solutions, APS5, KBR, MOH (Ministry of Health), K-BOSS and DynCorp etc. Handling purchases and supplies for 13 various KRH camps within Kuwait, purchases related to electrical, commodities, sanitary related items, safety equipments, safety items, PPEs, etc.
Excellent Knowledge of Kuwait and international market for the procurement and supply of all items including Telecommunications products like Motorola, Garmin and GPRS systems.
Preparation of monthly statements for cash flow and purchases, to be submitted to accounts department monthly.
Handling and solving issues related to housing and vehicles with various suppliers, Landlord and vendors etc.
Submission of reports like monthly purchases, Petty cash statements, Purchase Order reports, Vendor supply report etc to the top Management
As per ISO 9000 mandate, conducts on regular quarterly basis market survey of existing and new suppliers / Vendors / contractors for the required services they provide. The report is submitted to Higher Management for review.
Vendor evaluation and vendor performance report is sent to management on every quarter. Vendor evaluation and performance is conducted on every quarter.
Involved in drafting preparation of RFP / RFQ and invitation for bid proposal. Have received applause and recommendation from KRH Management in preparation of High value RFP
