Current Duties and Responsibilities:
PROJECT CONSTRUCTION under PMO, Reporting to Assistant General Manager.
- Managing project under contractual agreement as per Standard Condition of Contract of Civil & building construction, Oman.
- Planning Project execution strategy to develop construction programs by planning engineer.
- Progress monitoring & reporting to AGM/PMO and take actions accordingly to build progress achievement & if necessary, recovery plan.
- Review procurement to comply with the contract, specification and budget. Source & compile specification of materials in budget & obtain approval.
- Contract monitoring & control works as per contract & specification,
- Time & Cost Claim (Billing & Variations), Cost and risk management & monitoring,
- Achieve project target by following up Site engineers & subcontractors, investigate their requirement and enhance target under quality & time.
- Ensure site safety & discipline at site.
- Presentation of Monthly progress & achievement and project requirement to higher management.
- Conduct progress meetings with client & consultant as well as with subcontractors for all project related issues.
- Responsible for all contractual correspondence with consultant & client.
- Review Method Statements with collaboration with QAQC/vendors/suppliers & submission for approval for all individual/Special tasks.
- Ensure successful testing commissioning and handover of project.
- Close out final accounts of handled projects in terms of contract and variations, if any.
Project Management (Field of Planning, Execution, Monitor & controlling process group). Initiating process(tendering)&QS partly.
