• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating & maintaining equipment in water treatment plant: Directs activities of workers engaged in filtering, chemically treating, and pumping, testing fresh and processed water in preparation for human or industrial use.
• Plans daily work schedule and assigns tasks to workers based upon priority of work and expertise of individual workers.
• Inspects equipment, such as filters, chlorine indicators, filtered water basins and pump to detect malfunctions
• Be fully aware of all activities associated with Management of the operation and process associated with the running of a large RO/SWRO facility.
• I carry out routine operational tasks as outlined in the Contract O & M schedule
• I take proper routine reading and make observations/comments on equipment’s condition as required.
• I prepare reports for submission to the Manager.
• I also coordinate with operational shut down, troubleshooting and re-commissioning, mechanical, electrical, and electronic & instrumentation equipment.
• I report on reactive maintenance tasks as per the requirement.
• Ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to all times.
ROW MATERIAL TEST:
• Any metal testing by Spectrometer, Hardness test (HRB, HRC, HV & Hardness Superficial Scale, Vickers test & Rockwell Superficial Hardness test).
• Mechanical with Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS), testing Machine(YS, TS, % of EI), Galvanized cold rolled, Hot rolled & Steel materials, Bend test, Yield Strength test of MS/Galvanize she et, Annealing & HR sheet in the universal testing machine(Kg/mm2, % of Elongation test of metal sheet, Lock forming & sheet Bending test for galvanizing sheet in the shift duties.
• Zn Coating test of Galvanizing sheet(gm/m2, Salt Spray & Surface Roughness testing of any metallic Equipment, Erichsen Cupping Value(ECV) test of metal sheet(mm), Tubular impact testing of iron sheet kg/m2), Paneling test of GP sample, Online inspection at galvanizing Line, Inspection of HR Coils, To prepare the Mill test certificate of finish products, To determine the Zinc Coating Mass per Unit Area.
CHEMICALS TESTING:
• Iron content testing for water, Acidic liquid & Effluents(gm/ltr), Chromium testing for passivation liquids, TSS, TDS testing for any liquid(PPM), pH checked of any liquid.
• Analysis of All Oil Parameters: Viscosity CST, Coolant Analysis, AN(Acid Number), BN(Base Number), Water Determination, Elemental Analysis, Flash Point, Particle Count, Infrared Spectroscopy, Total Insoluble Matter(TIM), Microbial Analysis & Ferrous Wear(FW).
• 6HI Mills Oil Percentages(%), Tramp Oil %, Saponification number, Acid & Base number, Viscosity, Chloride, Iron, ESI & Plate out Value.
• Analysis of All Water & Waste Water Parameter(PPM): pH, Color, Turbidity, Chloride, Hardness, Alkalinity, Conductivity, Iron, Bicarbonate, Silica, Calcium, Sodium, H+, Sulphate, DO, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, Grease/Oil & Bacteria etc.
• Acid Regeneration Plant Parameter Analysis: Regenerated Acid, Venturi Acid (Const Roaster Charge) Waste Acid pH, Density, Total HCL %, Total Fe, Fe++, & Fe+++ Testing.
• All Laboratory instruments Calibration: pH meter, TDS meter, Automatic Titration unit, all dosing pump, Auto Karl Fischer Tetrameter, Optical Emission, ORP meter, Spectrometer, OES, Thermometer, DO meter, Iron meter & Density meter.
• I have good knowledge of all laboratory standard solution making.
* Expertise with standard processes such as hardness testing (Rockwell, Brinell, and Vickers), metallographic sample preparation and analysis, eddy current testing, and the common microstructure analysis for steels and irons.
* Cut, polished, and etch samples as necessary to prepare the samples for metallurgical evaluation.
* Performed the metallurgical analysis of cut sample sections submitted to the Met Lab for macro etch testing and Batch and Hold compliance.
* Used metallurgical software and templates to document and report the results of the cut and macro to etch analyses performed.
* Promptly reported the disposition of samples tested for Batch and Hold purposes.
