(Took Year’s leave to pursue full-time study at University of Nottingham, UK to attain master’s degree).
Manage team of technical staff and technical specialists, including 10 staff members and 120 additional field staff, on
routine maintenance and breakdown repair of Elevator, Escalators, and Moving Walkways on base of over 1500 units for
one of world’s largest elevator companies. Provide field support and after-sales service for equipment designed and
supplied by company during equipment installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up, and after sales maintenance services. Provide technical input to sales staff regarding the scope of work and materials required (and if jobs
are billable or non-billable). Develop installation instructions and procedures and create cost estimates and proposals for
field changes and repair procedures. Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients, promoting regular
client visits to identify and promote new business. Conduct regular field audits, safety audits, LOTO compliance
inspections, and gap analysis of maintenance-related issues to improve safety and quality of maintenance operations.
Oversee monthly and YTD results reporting, as well as P&L performance of Service and Repair business. Steer
superintendents and all field staff by providing direction and training, in addition to communicating company policies,
procedures, and objectives. Conduct staff performance reviews per job level and training.
Managed a team of five in electrical building design (Power, Fire Alarm, Emergency, and Low Current systems), paying
careful attention to details and respective impacts to cost and performance of projects undertaken by MEP consultancy
(Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). Performedloadscheduling, designcalculations, selection ofcapacitor banks, schematic
drawings, Fault Level calculation, and preparation of electrical room layout.
Key Achievements:
▪ Used keen observation skills and experience to enable seamless integration of each service into the system in
coordination with mechanical and plumbing layout, promoting durability and sustainability.
▪ Took ownership of generating concept design proposals, forwarding to Head Office for client review and
confirmation, and detailed designs, including schematic design, SLDs, drafting, and CAD work.
▪ Calculated short circuit current carrying capacity of AYFY (aluminium conductor PVC insulated steel strip
armoured insulated) cables and current ratings of AYFY feeder cables.
Oversaw electrical design and design review of electrical and ELV services in coordination with civil works, layouts of
lighting, power, telecommunication, and security systems, including preparation of electric schematic drawings and cable
schedules, preparation of BOX and cost estimates, and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors. Handled tender
preparation, technical bid evaluation, material submittal review and approval, shop drawing review and approval, vendor
coordination for specialist systems, and system design and development in close cooperation with in-house architectural,
structural, and façade teams. Designed and drafted schematic diagrams, SLDs, electrical equipment plant layout including
cable tray and routing, earthing system, and lightning systems.
Key Achievements:
▪ Accountable for high volume design and drafting of AutoCAD drawings and preparation of Load schedule,
selection of Transformers, and UPS.
▪ Performed site supervision and coordination with subcontractors and provided project management services, as
well as installation services for internal wiring, telephone, intercom, and networking systems.
▪ Used DIALUX to calculate LUX requirements for each area.
▪ Delivered all projects on time and within budget.
▪ Designed electrical system for Technopark Phase III following strict LEED Gold design rules, involving battery
charging points for alternative transportation, preparation of IES files for external and internal lighting with LED
lights, solar lighting for exterior areas, preparation of single line diagrams, and non-emergency automated interior
lighting.
Managed parts of construction projects, provided technical advice, supervised on-site staff, and ensured packages
completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Oversaw building work, undertook surveys, set out
sites and organised facilities, checked technical designs and drawings against work performed, and supervised contracted
staff. Preparedsite reports and other paperwork. Liaised with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff. Ensured
health, safety, and sustainability policies followed.
Full time study for 1 year in UK Thesis : Design for Solar Photovoltaic Panel. Simulation-Based Project: Analysed power quality measures for diode rectifier with LC Smoothing; studied IEEE 6 Bus power system with constant loads and phase shift transformers to determine total system losses and improve efficiency; analysed behaviour of Induction Motor using Simulink.
