Project Work Involves Erection of 11 kV additional bays & renovation of existing bays with VCB and Laying of 11 kV lines on 140 Kg 8 mtr long PCC poles with (rabbit) AAA conductor; Installation of 25 kVA 11/0.433 kV DTR and its metering; Replacement of bare conductor of LT lines by AB cables in abadi area, damaged service lines by PVC armoured cables & installation of meters in unmetered / defective / new consumers; re-location of DTR at load center; consumer indexing and its updation in billing software; asset mapping of HT & LT network using GPS; certification of distribution loss from distribution transformer to consumer Premise. Supervision includes quality surveillance of all activities from engineering, survey, erection, construction upto final testing and commissioning during execution of the works. Job responsibility includes review of design prepared by the contractor including pegging plan, overhead equipment layout, cross section drawing, structural erection drawing, general supply diagram, OHE design calculation, traction power simulation studies, bill of materials of approved drawing etc, superintendence of contractor’s performance of railway electrification, progress monitoring and preparation of daily progress report, supervision for technical conformity and quality control, evaluation of construction, certification of completion of works by the contractor, verification of payment invoices of the contractor, duties related to taking over and defect liability period. Assurance of quality through visual examination, review of test results/ quality control documentation and witnessing important tests including those for acceptance/precommissioning system. Maintaining records of engineering quality like worksite notebook, worksite report, work orders, minutes of preliminary and final work acceptance. Communication with client and processing request for information.
