Almost 5 years of professional experience as Oracle & PostgreSQL DBA, providing 24*7 support for multiple database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Mongo) environments on various platform.
Experience on high volume databases with sizes varying from 500GB to 12TBS of data.
Proficiency in Oracle database Installations 10g, 11g on UNIX, CENTOS, SUN Solaris, Windows environment with hands-on upgrading oracle databases. (10gR1 to 10gR2, 10gR2 to 11gR2).

Experience in using 10g features Data pump, Flash-Back Recovery, AWR and ADDM.
Experience in Migration of Database from 10g to 11g.
Experience in shell scripting for various CRON jobs to be run.

Recovery of Databases from Backup of Databases using RMAN and other backup techniques.
Monitoring the table fragmentation and rectify by online redefinition of Tables.

Experience in PostgreSQL Installation 9.0 and 9.2 Production support.
Experience in Installation and creating Hot Streaming Replication (Master and Slave).
Experience in Master - Master replication using ruby-rep in PostgreSQL.
Experience in PostgreSQL Installations, Upgrades, Migration.
Expert in Backup & Recovery including PG dump, setting up WAL archiving, Point in time recovery.
Proficient in PostgreSQL DBA activities including configuration settings, database index creation and maintained and Query optimization.
Experience reorganization of tables and indexes within databases when needed.
Experience and Maintained standby databases, in both local and remote locations, for fail-over purposes.
Implementing and maintaining database security (create and maintain users, roles and assign privileges).
Monitoring the production PostgreSQL alert logs for database errors.
Configuration of PgBouncer, REPMGR etc. for replication.
Configure and monitoring of pgBadger for monitoring purpose.
