Key Result Areas:
• Administering Quality Management; maintaining quality standards, ensuring adherence to quality norms & practices
• Preparing ITP as per client specification; performing various inspections as per defined procedures & specifications like:
o Inspection of incoming material with client
o Pre-Inspection, In-Process / Stage Inspection & Final Inspection
o Piping Inspection as per Isometric Drawing
• Managing Witnessing of DP Test, Ultrasonic Test & Radiography Film Interpretation, Hydro Test of Piping and Pipeline
• Conducting Welder Test as per approved WPS and ASME Section IX
• Preparing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), conducting Welder Qualification Tests and identifying welding
defects either by NDT and arranging to rectify them
• Developing quality control reports and recording them properly for various quality & inspections procedures
• Monitoring adherence to established welding, non-destructive testing, destructive testing, fabrication, raw material
inspection, heat treatment, painting, fabrication, machining processes
• Extending technical support at sites and ensuring high-customer satisfaction by addressing client’s problems
• Pivotal in monitoring vendors/ supplier’s performance to ensure meeting of cost, delivery & quality norms; conducting
periodic audits & surveys of supplier’s facilities and processes to determine adequacy and quality control
• Documenting work instructions / test descriptions / inspection plans and updating them as and when required
• Preparing relevant documentation and providing support to Quality Department for QMS Audit
• Working as an Inspection Coordinator at Tata Projects Kolkata Office; pivotal in:
o Coordinating with Field Quality Engineers for various inspections at site
o Raising inspection call to client with all relevant documents as per QAP
o Reviewing and giving approval of QAP, WPS of Vendor as per project requirements
o Providing support to the Project Team for quality related issues in projects
