1) Doha Metro Rail Project-Gold Line Package (Project Value: $4.2bn)

• Review of Geotechnical appraisal reports, Factual reports, Geotechnical Interpretative reports(GIR’s) related to Underground Metro stations and tunnelling works
• Review and monitoring the instrumentation reports and validating the design review process
• Developing Ground Models for assessment of slope stability and seepage analysis for temporary works
• Carrying out slope stability analysis, seepage analysis for the open-cut excavations as well as retaining wall temporary works using software tools

• Onsite inspection of geotechnical works related to open cut excavations, contiguous or secant retaining walls, rock anchoring, dewatering, surface protection of excavation faces, seepage control etc., against the approved shop drawings, to ensure all the works executed as per the approved drawings.
• Responsible for preparation of site inspection reports, work progress status, and audits carried out during site inspections
• Carrying out a comprehensive examination of all aspects of the design, and confirm that it complies with the Employer’s requirements
• Reporting of discrepancies noticed during site inspections and raising noncompliance report to the client to rectify the works
• Onsite inspection of Structural works of Underground Metro stations which includes inspection of construction of base slab, concourse slab, roof slab, platform slabs, external walls, internal walls, core walls and other structural works.
• Review of method statement for Ground improvement works and inspection of the execution on site
• Review of design drawings related to structural works of Underground Metro station works and raising DRS (Document review sheet with comments) to the Designer
• Review and certification of as built drawings and related documents upon ensuring works accomplished in compliance with contractual technical specifications.
• Responsible for attending the meeting with clients, and other stake holders
• Evaluation and monitoring the construction progress of works in accordance with the submitted WBS.
• Monitoring and measurement of scope changes, control of nonconforming services and Early Warning Notifications
• Preparation of supporting documentation / justification for variations and claims
• Responsible for Change register (for deviations from base scope) and risk register

2) New Orbital Highway and Truck Route project -Joint Venture (JV) (Project Value: £1.2 bn)

• Monitoring and measurement of scope changes, control of nonconforming
services and Early Warning Notifications
• Preparation of supporting documentation / justification for variations and claim
orders
• Negotiation with contractor for the approval of variation orders and expedite
claim process.
• Systematic logging and maintenance of contractor, client and PMC letters and
variation orders.
• Responsible for management of Change register (for deviations from base
scope) and risk register
• Monitoring of construction progress and preparation of daily and monthly
reports
• Monitoring the construction activities in accordance with approved quality
plans
• Ensuring the construction activities carried out by contractor in compliance to
approved polices and plans which include occupational health and safety,

• Management of design change requests and evaluate the adequacy of

• Responsible for preparation of QA/QC plans, approval of material specifications, method statements, and ensure on that all works are executed as per approved plans without compromising quality in compliance to the
technical specifications of the contract
• Preparation of technical proposals, method statements, design documents and estimation of quantities
• Evaluation of technical proposals, carrying out value engineering activities with special emphasis on cost optimization at the tender stage
• Carrying out reconnaissance survey of sites prior to the submission of technical bids for the coal based power plant projects
