PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Joined as a member of the program management team in Dubai. Recognized as a team leader in 2008 to manage, coach and work along with the Dubai team with 6 direct reports. Proven track record of managing 14 customer accounts of the MENAPak region with a volume of ~400M US$/Year. Demonstrated ability and accountability for Dubai team’s overall performance and monitor KPIs to improve performance of the team in compliance to SOX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Participate in project kick-off meetings, process sales orders in ORACLE, provide contract reconciliations, collaborate with finance for releasing orders, forecasting & planning across supply chain for delivery scheduling & updating account teams with. MIS reports on backlogs & project status weekly, providing timely updates to the CRM.
o Liaise with UK Supply Chain on planning, forecasting lead times for HW, SW & Ancillary equipment and expediting customer contracts according to INCOTERMS to maximize revenue recognition for each quarter.
o Change Management-Working cross functionally with customer account team, supply chain department and finance teams to understand and facilitate the working needs to process change orders.
o Tracking and control of short shipments & wrong shipments and take corrective steps to resolve. Identifying the root cause and close gaps to prevent repetitive errors.
o Generate KPI reports for Order 2 Cash cycle time performance against projects. Conduct project evaluation meetings for lessons learnt and identify simplified and efficient solutions to issues and processes for proactively addressing key risks on categories being handled.

• Successfully executed over 50% (~$185M) of the MENAPak contracts for the Year 2008 and recognized as the team leader for MENAPak Order Management with 6 direct reports.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing process solutions. Formulated and improved End 2 End Order Management Process with primary focus on KPIs.

Stock Control/Inventory Management

o Maintaining Shipping Manifest to understand what new products are procured, keep track of all Imports and update production and sales dept. accordingly about the arrival dates.
o Responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments. Hands-on experience in export documentation for Sales Orders under letter of Credits. Provides daily operations report to Logistics Manager.
o Liaising with freight forwarders/shipping agents for best rates in cargo. Documenting clearing requests and coordinating with clearing agents and warehouse personnel for clearing the cargoes from Seaport and Airport.
o Coordinating with accounts dept. for obtaining necessary bank guarantees for clearing import shipments.

Planning/Procurement Coordinator
Identify Potential Suppliers, Supplier Evaluation, Ordering, Measure & Monitor Vendor Performance
o Create purchasing related forms viz Purchase Requests, Letter of Purchase Orders, RFQs, rejection and award letters.
o Participating in creating Strategic Plan, policy and procedures for the Purchasing unit.
o Meeting with vendors, negotiate cost, payment terms, delivery timelines etc.
o Monitor and maintain existing contracts, renewals and expiration dates to alert requestors.
o Work closely with Finance to consolidate invoices, LPOs and delivery notes for Payment Certification.
o Follow up with vendors and monitor delivery of items and services requested.
o Monitoring and updating data related to Import Purchase orders and Export Sales Orders.
o Evaluate vendor performance and internal customer satisfaction.
o Liaise with other departments on specifications and needs to achieve best quality and lowest cost.
