• Organize and conduct library training and orientations via MS Team and Zoom
• Administering the library system (LIBERO)
- backup and maintain the system regularly
- ensure the smooth flow of the OPAC
- process inventory of the collections both audio-visual and book materials
- extract data reports from the system for accreditation purposes
• Provide technical assistance to the library patrons on the use of library e-resources
• Assist patrons with the use of reference resources and answers queries and questions of patrons online
• Plan and deliver client-centered programs and services such as special services, storytelling for children, newsletters, or programs for special groups
• Develop information access aids such as indexes and annotated bibliographies, web pages, electronic pathfinders, and on-line tutorials
• Develop, design, and maintain the library website (http://lib.gutech.edu.om)
• Gather and examine free and subscribed on-line resources
• Update and maintain the library’s audio-visual resources
• Lend and collect books, periodicals, videotapes, and other materials
• Create and produce video and audio presentations for library activities and seminars
• Review, download and disseminate bibliographic information from trusted sites
• Assist in the automation of the Archives and Museum Collections
• Update the library’s social networking fan page
• Prepare write-ups and reports for my line managers
