Duties & Responsibilities: * Material receiving, inspection and review of documents. * Maintenance of Inspection/NDT Reports etc. * Ensure / Control all NDT works are strictly adhered to procedures. * Tank shell thickness and pitting measurement, markings for patch plates and cutting coupon plates in bottom plates to access its thickness and corrosion level. * Inspection for fabrication, blasting, coating & fit-up of annular, roof, shell and bottom plates and final Visual inspection of weld joints as per codes and standards. * Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan * Conducting diesel chalk test for bottom to shell plate joint & vacuum test for bottom plates joint. * Witnessing of NDT activities and review the reports * Painting inspection of offshore Jackets. * Inspecting the pipe spools (CS, DSS & SS) as per the drawing and documenting the same. * Monitoring Baking system for welding consumables, Pre heating and Inter pass temperature of Welds. * Interpretation of Radiography Films as per codes and Standards (ASME B31.3, API 1104) * Monitoring stress relieving activity and review of PWHT charts. * Checking the weld and base metal composition using (Positive Material Identification) as per clients procedure * Witnessing of Hydro test and Pneumatic test. * Prepare weekly reports on the subcontractor's performance and overall status of the works and maintain statistics on the safety and quality performance of the subcontractors.
