Order processing - review of pending orders and daily production report, scheduling export shipments, getting necessary release in the system done and effecting shipments.
Cold chain management - ensuring throughout cold chain management for pharmaceutical raw materials, finished pharmaceuticals.
Reverse Logistics - recall of unsold and rejected material
Banking documentation - preparing post shipment banking documents and submitting to the finance department for further submission to the bankers, getting the FIRCs issued by bankers for advances received, getting the BRCs certified from bankers for the completed export transactions.
Cross Functional Co-ordination - co-ordination with purchase and finance for retiring import documents, lodging export documents with bankers, Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments for necessary release of raw materials and finished goods.
Customer support - Supporting international customer by sharing the pending order details, status of orders in hand, advising shipment details and providing the shipment documentation.
Liason - liaison with government agencies viz. Customs, Ministry of Health, Environment Ministry etc.
Freight negotiation - negotiation of ocean and air freight with the freight forwarders.
MIS Reporting - Maintaining the open (pending) orders data, maintaining the dispatch (sales) data, analysis of cost incurred on customs clearance etc.
