Working for a Client based in QATAR- Commercial Bank of Qatar
Networking and providing support for Windows issues.
Configuration and testing of any new hardware and software.
Remotely assist company’s staff for any IT related issue using UltraVNC
Travelling to client sites to help with installs, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication network (LAN &
WAN).
Maintaining company’s IT inventory
To ensure the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum
performance and availability for their users.
Installing and operating Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Setting up of conference facilities (video and tele-conference), and providing technical support
TCP/IP networking and hardware maintenance and repair.
Using HP Service Manager to track ticket progress and enter updates to have on going record of
case activity till resolution is reached and ticket closed
Applying patches in accordance with company procedures
Support for Qmatic system to ensure customers are served without any delay
Managing Active Directory Users and Computers
•Installing, Configuring and administrating Cisco Routers and Switches.
•Provided end to end support for all network related queries
•Network Monitoring using various network monitoring tools
•Troubleshoot and escalate Network related issues to Network team
•Cisco router / switch configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
•Collecting switch details, switch utilization reports
•Configuration and troubleshooting VLANs on Catalyst Switches
•Adding new VLANS in switch Trunk ports
•Assigning LAN ports to appropriate VLANs as per user requirements
•Basic configuration of Network services
•Implementing IP routing Static and Dynamic Routing
•Basic configuration and troubleshooting of OSPF on Cisco Routers
•Configuration and troubleshooting of Leased Line
•Configuration of L3 switches
•Configuration of NAT and Access Lists.
