• Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patients.
• Advice to customers on using medications safely and about the possible side effects.
• Providing other health advice such us guidance on stopping smoking, following a healthy life style.
• Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies or drugs.
• Maintaining stock and storing and handling of drugs properly.
• Analysing prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
• Proper maintenance of expired or deteriorated drugs in the pharmacy.
• Advising patients on medication brands, medical equipment or health care supplies.
