• Manages a team of 6 people (1 operation geologists, 3 wellsite geologists, 1 petrophysicist, 1 data
management and archive coordinator).
• Plans and coordinates the preparation of drilling, logging and coring programs for exploration and
appraisal wells. Includes preparing work programs for field operations, assigning staff to and
providing technical advice and guidance.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job
and deliver the respective section objectives.
• Contribute actively to the data acquisition programs (LWD or Wire line logging, studies on well
cuttings or cores) optimizing whenever possible with innovative solutions to safely acquire fit for
purpose data achieving well objectives at lowest possible cost preserving data reliability and quality.
• Supervise Geo-mechanical studies and geo-steering programs to land and achieve targets
successfully.
• Provide well logs interpretation to determine zones that potentially could be hydrocarbon productive.
Perform formation evaluation of new Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells to support the
relevant sub-surface activities / studies.
• Conduct petrophysical reviews / studies of the existing Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells
to support the relevant sub-surface activities / studies
• Implement approved Department/Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in
order to support execution of the Department/Sections work programs in line with Company and
International standards.
• Plan and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational
processes.
• Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols during well operations.
• Integrating Pore and Fracture Pressure studies, Shallow Hazard, Drill Site Assessment and relevant
mitigation measures.
• Provides expert opinion on well operations, casing optimization, log analysis to drilling, exploration
and reservoir domains to help in their ongoing projects.

• Manages a team of 5 people (operation geologists, wellsite geologists, data management and archive
coordinator).
• Ensure all HSE measures are fully applied during well operations.
• Lead a team of exploration/reservoir/operation/wellsite geologists and drilling engineers in planning and
executing drilling programs for oil and gas wells projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of comprehensive geological information for well program
preparation from spud in to the completion of all well activities including, incorporating tools required to
Geo-steer and monitor wells while being drilled, predict target depths with accuracy with in 2m tolerance,
compiling geological data sheet, well profile and drilling progress chart for each well.
• Supervise and perform Geo-mechanical studies for future wells planning, hydraulic fracturing and to know
principal/tectonic stresses in operated fields.
• Coordinate and manage subsurface studies by external parties.
• Provide Deterministic log interpretation while follow-up of wells.
• Experienced in performing rock typing by SOM method, permeability modelling by neural networks.
• Build Saturation Height models for Badhra and Mohar fields.
• Conducted seismic inversion project of middle indus basin by rock physics modelling, perform logs
reconstruction and elastic properties computation.
• Provide petrophysical support to Exploration, Reservoir department in their prospects and projects, which
includes logs interpretation, logs reconstruction, MDT acquisition follow-up and its interpretation.
• Extensive work experience on pore pressure modelling which is recently done on sawan deep prospect
in house. Prepare 1 D MEM (Mechanical Earth Model) for pre-drill evaluation.
• Save costs on multiple wells by optimizing well acquisition programs and taking discounts by contractors
on numerous wells.
• Perform pore pressure analysis on various offshore prospects for new venture blocks evaluation.
• Achieved target of cost optimization by receiving 40% discount on wireline contract as a process of cost
optimization campaign.

• Perform multi-well pressure analysis for pore pressure study from LWD/wireline pressure data and fluid
gradients identification.
• Geo-Steer multi-lateral and extended reached wells (max to 1000 m and in 3 m of tolerance) in kadanwari
field approx. 5 wells. In bhit field approx. 4 wells.
• Experienced in utilizing Halliburton (Geo Tap, CTN, ADR, EWR, ALD & XBAT), Baker Hughes (Testrak,
Lithotrak, Star trak, Soundtrak & Ontrak) and Schlumberger (Ecoscope, Microscope, Impulse, AND &
Stethoscope).
• Perform gas while drilling analysis, identify fluid contacts and facies with help of gas ratios analysis, make
field fluid models by integrating PVT data.
• Performed well planning of onshore (numerous wells of Kadanwari and Badhra field).
• Quick look interpretation of well logs and to identify productive zones.
• GWD (Gas While Drilling) Analysis on Realtime gas data and post well data.
• Pore Pressure Analysis from Logs and Seismic Velocities Data.
• Contracts management (Prepare tender and bid documents for new contracts, perform technical
evaluation, prepare contract closed out and performance reports).

reservoir location is achieved by monitoring deviation plots.

also coordinate with Exploration and Drilling department. Worked as a wellsite geologist on first Horizontal well (horizontal section of 1000 m) of Eni Pakistan Ltd and supervise the mud logging, LWD and Wire line jobs (cased hole with tuff Track tractor
tool) and geo steer the well with in target tolerance of 3m with azimuthal resistivity images.
