Worked on whole genome sequencing of Infectious bronchitis virus isolated from rural poultry at Minnesota USA
Worked on pregnancy lactation interaction in dairy cattle. New method of pregnancy diagnosis through body hair study was worked out. Hormonal profile was linked with the changes in body hair growth. The same could be used a indicator for pregnancy in future.
Studied the reasons for decline in milk yield of dairy animals with the advancing pregnancy. The rate of this decline was managed through the provision of additional dietary supplements. A conclusion was drawn that if a dairy animals is supplemented with additional pregnancy allowance the milk yield and composition will not be effected till long after pregnancy
Worked on the use and quality of the three Infectious bursal disease vaccines in broilers. The vaccines were tested under different programs' and a new local killed vaccine was developed to control the disease
