Global IT Project Manager, I oversee 360-degree full cycle projects and direct the project team(s) comprised of business stakeholder(s), third party vendor(s) implementation partner team members. The position comes with a tremendous responsibility, accountability, ownership and authority for all projects running globally across resorts Worldwide. Responsibilities include project governance, oversight, scope, economics and resourcing across multiple projects and work streams.
Moreover, following PMI Methodologies best practices in day-to-day operation including:
o Communication, Communication and more Communication
o Schedule management: including resource planning, sequencing of tasks, estimating, identifying
dependencies, and tracking procedures
o Scope management: including project initiation, scope planning, definition and change control
procedures and approvals
o Cost management: resource planning, cost estimation, budgeting and control activities
o Risk Management: risk planning, identification, mitigation, and remediation
o Quality management: responsibility for project deliverables including quality control
o Documentation: Manage product documentation process and ensure completeness
o Oversight and management of scope creep and resolution
o Management of key project team meetings, follow-up on action items and delivery date milestones
o Advanced skills in financial management and budgeting
o Planning, market analysis, intimation to vendors interested in bidding to the tender
o Tender bidding, Bid evaluation(technical/commercial), technical/price comparison and awarding tender
A challenging position where reporting to both Information Technology and Human Resources departments.
Major Role in the Information Technology Department:
o Initiating, planning and executing a SharePoint-based new Intranet for Atlantis the Palm, Dubai in a 6 months time.
o Analyzing the hospitality business needs from employee perspective.
o Setting the main goals and strategy of Atlantisthepalm Intranet.
o Designining the infrastructure of the whole site in terms of (Homepage, Inner pages, departmental sites...etc.).
o Working closely with the vendor and ensuring the project is on timely schedule.
o Conducting Workshops for training site administrators to manage their site content.
o Preparing and executing the successful launch event, the event was featured on Transformers blog "http://blog.thetransformers.me/?p=849".
o Uploading intranet content to be ready before the actual launch date.
o Liaising and managing more than 70 departmental administrators.
o Moving Atlantisthepalm to a totally new era with a paperless environment.
o Forcing exclusive competitions on the intranet to get more hits on the portal.
o For employees who do not have access to computers everyday, we are giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and mindset by creating intranet kiosks for them.
o Preparing regular intranet reports.
Major Role in the Human Resources Department:
o Looking forward to employee engagement and satisfaction.
o Raising awareness through internal campaigns.
o Helping in creating internal events for employees such as Legends Awards, Annual Employees Party, Employees Quarterly Meetings, ...etc.
o Understanding the needs of the employees through conducting meetings and developing campaign accordingly.
The role requires managing and analyzing the feasibility of creating new systems and enhancing existing ones. This is done through developing requirements and ensuring the system design fits the needs of the end users. Key Responsibilities:
o Managing full lifecycle projects
o Managing project scope, budget, and client expectations; primary client contact once engaged
o Work collaboratively with business and technical to identify impacts to business process and systems through analysis of new requirements
o Write functional specifications to document business requirements in terms technical teams understand
o Serve as liaison between users, vendors, and technical groups to resolve complex issues
o Perform testing activities including construction of test plans, documenting the expected results and the validation of test results
o Communicate and document system changes to the business, including translating system functionality into business relevant language
o Summarize written findings, publicize results and engage with senior leadership as appropriate

Heavily involved in all coordination &execution, marketing activities &events. Tracking competitions &preparing regular online channels reports. Coordinating with departmental stakeholders to ensure internal awareness campaigns execution, timely delivery of materials. Conducting client meetings, understanding what their needs are &look at ways of supporting their campiagns using different channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Intranet Portal Administration, the Intranet serves 6, 500 employees; every department aligns with our team before launching any content on the intranet. Here under more details on key activities:
o Develop online interfaces that maximize delivery of value to the organization.
o Intranet Content Management “intranet.vodafone.com.eg”
o Internal Communications team representation on cross-functional projects;
o Ensure that brand objectives are implemented in an integrated and consistent manner
o Provide online expertise to internal clients;
o Initiate, plan, and execute projects, including channel development support
o Introduce and execute initiatives that support the broader organizational strategies
