IT Senior Project Manager, 2019 - Present
- Lead and manage large scale Information Technology (IT) projects
- Ensuring projects are within schedule, scope, budget and as per the overall strategic plan.
- Accountable for identifying team strengths and weaknesses in order to effectively balance
- Conduct comprehensive documentations for effective management
- Safeguarding project related information and avoiding/ mitigating future similar issues.
- Update projects’ related activities on the IT Projects SharePoint.
- Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the compliance function as and when required.
- Maintain compliance with standard policies and procedures.
- Manage other projects as backup
- Collaborate & communicate extensively with diverse divisions, vendors and IT different departments to perform activities; to develop, to comply, and to build solid system.
- Supervise IT Project Manager and Coordinator

Key projects include:
• Qatar Rail: implement contact and contactless POS network spanning the Qatar Rail and Lusail Light Railway transit network; serving Manned Ticket Office, Ticket Vending Machine and PCVM hand-held terminals. This implementation will provide switching, authorization, clearing and settlement services for the transaction executed by
customers via the use of QNB’s issued contact and contactless payment card.
• Global Screening (in progress): implement a new robust real-time new filtering and screening platform to screen/ filter all fund transactions from different payment systems against all the applicable lists. This implementation will replace an existing system.
• Payment Gateway (in progress): implement a system/ a gateway that would support e-commerce acquiring, provide easy merchant on-boarding and online merchant and customer portal, integrate/ support MoTC, manage transactions such as: (recurring payment, void, settlement, refund), provide static, dynamic and customized reporting.
• Trade Innovation (TI) Upgrade: upgrade and enhance QNB TI system for 5 countries
