Community Mobilizer, Za’atari Camp

● Attend gathering meetings with community leaders with implementing I/NGOs in Za’atari camp to discuss various issues and concerns in attempts to improve living conditions for the community.
● Record minutes of meetings and follow up on action plans.
● Liaise with community leaders and parents to introduce programme activities and encourage community involvement in programme implementation and monitoring.
● Attend weekly meetings with community based Child Protection Committees and ensure they are up and running
● Ensure Child Protection Committees and Child Club are supported to conduct community-based awareness raising activities on Child Protection issues
● Conducting needs assessment in the target and surrounding communities, especially the children, with an aim to implement programme activities.
● Participate in home visits to raise awareness among parents and children on the importance of education to encourage drop out school children to re-enroll and disseminate information about the various programmes provided by Save the Children
● Hold regular meetings with stakeholders including community based protection mechanism and other organizations serving children and community to familiarize them with the programmes and their objectives and engage them in the process.

JHCO
● Provide assistance to the Center Manager’s daily work.
● Undertake the tasks of receiving calls, take messages and routing
correspondence.
● Handle requests and queries appropriately.
● Maintain diary, arrange meetings and appointments and provide
reminders.
● Monitor office supplies.
