• Lead and manage the day-to-day HR activities within MedNet Egypt to ensure standards are followed - this includes, but not limited to, administering personnel files, leave management, tracking employees’ time and attendance, preparing the HR reports, supervising the implementation and improvement of policies and procedures, providing advice and counselling to employees on job-related issues, all in accord with the local labor law, the regional HR governance framework and business needs

• Develop and seek approval for the annual manpower and recruitment plan in line with MedNet Egypt’s HR resource requirements in order to support the achievement of the business objectives

• Be responsible for the recruiting and hiring process up to middle management level, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting qualified candidates meeting the position requirements, doing referral checks, negotiating employment terms with suitable candidates, making the initial offer within given guidelines and establishing an induction program for new joiners

• Build, maintain and foster external relations with employment agencies, providers, and lead the development, maintenance and updating of a recruitment database that holds information of interviewed candidates and potential profiles for future sourcing purposes and responsible for the employee’s on-boarding in coordination with the hiring Manager to ensure that the company will effectively deliver the company message and standards to new employees
• Execute the payroll in alignment with the HR Manger and Finance Manager, prepare and monitor the fixed and variable employees payments and deductions to ensure that all are processed in a lawful manner, accurate and compliant with the approved policies.

• Manage the administration of the local Performance Management system in line with the regional HR governance framework in order to promote a performance driven culture in MedNet Egypt

• Coordinate with departments to evaluate the training requirements of the employees and conduct a training needs’ analysis as well as provide support, advice and give professional assistance to line management with respect to their employees’ individual training and development plans

• Participate in identifying third party training providers, training courses or implement customized trainings, if required, that offer optimum usefulness to the nominated employees and improve organization effectiveness and capabilities across the workforce and meet the business challenges

• Participate and recommend the HR budget for MedNet Egypt and ensure all activities are carried out in accord with the approved budget

 Recruiting Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand the strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner. Ensure clear mutual understanding of staffing priorities and practical constraints. Guide the hiring managers through the recruitment process where needed.
• Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search.
• Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and announcements, post advertisements in a variety of sources and networks .Recommend creative and alternative advertising venues and strategies.
• Review applications, evaluate qualifications of both internal and external candidates, conduct prescreen interviews to analyze candidate experience and fit to the company culture and position, coordinate pre-employment tests as needed, and develop a short list of potential candidates.
• Conducts competency-based interviews and uses appropriate assessments.
• Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager and provide feedback on interview results as appropriate.
• Complete reference check and background checks on selected candidates, as requested.
• Communicate with the candidates in a professional and consistent manner during every stage of the evaluation
• Handel the offer process including negotiating offers with candidates. Prepare offer letter/employment agreement for signature.
• Liaise between new hires and Personnel team, ensuring submission of all documentation required.
• Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost effective, high quality services are provided to hiring managers.
• Track applicant flow, maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration, help collect and analyze recruitment data.
• Build and maintain database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management needs. Conduct informational interviews with potential candidates. Solicit and prioritize internal referrals.


 Employee Relations Responsibilities:

• Facilitate meetings with cross functional managers on an as needed basis
• Guide management on employee performance issues that may involve employee relations issues
• In partnership with HRM, investigate, prepare documentation on and recommend corrective actions for employee complaints
• Conduct and document exit interviews with terminated/ resigned employees to understand turnover trends
• Deliver new hire process to ensure new employee receives complete company orientation
• Act as advisor and coach to line managers on human resources issues such as managing change and supporting a positive work environment

 Payroll Responsibilities:

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Prepares payroll reports (for Part Timers) by compiling summaries of data
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Advise on salary increase requests (i.e. salary adjustment)
• Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned with our company’s strategy
• Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments.
• Forecast budget for salary increases
• Research job and worker requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations, and occupational trends

 Other duties

•Main point of contact for local employees regarding benefits and other HR requests such as employee letters, vacation requests, leave of absence documents, updating of workbooks, etc
