Office of the Registrar

Organizing, administrating, and providing service to students in the processes of retrieving records and registration.
Coordinating dissemination of information on courses offered and procedures students are required to follow in order to obtain grade transcripts.
Managing the Open SIS System by maintaining records for over 400 students electronically.
Responsible for providing up-to-date course schedule, grade reports and generating reports for faculty upon request
Responsible for the registration process cycle by registering current students and adding/dropping courses of students, and responding to Registration e-mails with regards to course registration inquiries.
Dealing with the clearance procedure of all students leaving the institute.
Independently creating and managing course periods and add/edit/remove courses as required.
Creating degree audit reports for over 200 current students based on the transcript details.
Creating the policy of the registration section for the registrar’s office.
Administrator - Admissions Office
Responding to admission emails with regards to personal enquiries from potential undergraduate and postgraduate applicants, providing detailed responses to their enquiries about the application process.
Handling telephone call from prospective applicants, their parents, faculty and advisors independently in a timely and professional manner in respective to their enquiry.
Processing incoming applications for all UAE national and International applicants for MSc & PhD programmes, analysing qualifications, scanning the validity of their IELTS/TOEFL & GRE scores and authenticity of results.
Pre-evaluating the applications of prospective applicants based on standard admission policies.
Entering inputs that will impact the final decision, using the Simplicity and other databases with the aim of 100% accuracy and punctuality.
Ensuring that correct procedures are followed when dealing with international students in regards to visas in accordance with the Human Recourses Department.
Sending Official admission letters after perusing applicants for HR approvals and meeting all requirements.
Involved in the implementation of the new system “PeopleSoft - oracle” - attends meeting / gives input/ study feedback etc.
Took part in the World Energy Future Summit (WEFS) - Explaining Masdar Institutes purpose and admission criteria to the public.
