The main function was to take part of the Implementation of the SAP i.s.h.Med Medical Module:
o Patient Management
o Medical Documentation
o Physicians and Nursing Workflows
o Pharmacy and Medication
o Business Intelligence
By preforming the below activities:
● Assist in the requirements gathering and proof of concept completion for the Medical
Phase.
● Analyze thoroughly the holes in the existing from observing the current user experience
to define the most accurate solutions/ requirements to address all the needs of
stakeholders as well as users.
● Customize the software to fit the organization’s needs: set up security measures,
optimize user interfaces for the needs of the organization, and configures typical reports
and orders etc.…
● Develop new functions, modules, reports, tables, master data, contract schemes that
meet the defined gathered needs using SAP ABAP Language.
● Recognize, develop, and adopt best practices in reporting and insights: automation, data
integrity, test design, and review.
● Extract, validate, compile, organize and summarize data from a wide variety of internal
and external sources.
● Collaborate with various departments to develop routine and ad hoc reports (SAP and
COPA Finance).
● Testing: Operational Acceptance Testing - OAT - performed pre-release of a software,
system or application to check the quality of it. Operational Acceptance Testing is a very
usual software testing whose type is non-functional and it is mainly used in software
development and software maintenance projects.
And User Acceptance Testing - UAT: where actual software users test the software to
make sure it can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to
specifications.
● Assist in the installation, upgrade or maintenance of enterprise; this includes installing
new software releases and system upgrades, evaluating and installing application
patches, and conducting application migrations, refreshes, and restores.
● Define the infrastructure needed software and hardware wise to support the
implementation of the new system.
● Participate in development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security
plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Hospital’s data and
servers.
● Support and Troubleshooting, Investigate problems and support logs and determine
appropriate corrective actions to take in order to avoid repetitive issues.
● Provide appropriate support to colleagues to improve their knowledge and
understanding, and share own knowledge, skills and experience with others through
KTs.
● Assist in training new joiner, develop training materials to support implementations of
new modules and functionalities.
Train SMEs and SUs (Subject Matter Experts and Super Users) on newly implemented
functionalities.
● Develop internal procedures, develop records and KPIs and represent department at
internal and external meetings.
● Participate in the follow up of ISO and accreditation requirements (KPI, policies,
procedures…Etc.)

Millennium Suite by watching Web Based Trainings, attend learning sessions and hands
on practice on solutions.
● Provide post training feedback to identify new opportunities to improve activities and
value delivery.
● Participate in application testing before deployment on the Production Domain.
● Gather Domain and Application bugs by running continuous scenarios and workflows
testing with stakeholders (Clinical and Non-Clinical teams)
● Build and generate reports on SAP BI. And provide the appropriate data analysis to
discern users lags and ensure proper action plan is implemented to optimize clinical
documentation and the use of the EMR.

● Co- Implementation of the new Hospital Information System in collaboration with SAP
and Soltius Dubai (Procurement and Materials Management Module:
o Organizational Transformation to meet new structure to meet with best business
practices as per global standard for healthcare industry
o Meeting healthcare based KPI’s in supply chain and HIS, ensuring business process
integration between hybrid systems working seamlessly

● Implemented the new Laboratory Information System (Central Lab Completed, Pending
Blood Bank and Pathology):
- Assisted in the requirements gathering and proof of concept completion.
- Implemented the hl7 interface between the lab information system and our
current billing system; two ways interface for billing and ordering.
- Performed the setup of computers in the floors and in the laboratories in
addition to the bar coding system and samples check in.
- Responsible for application administration and maintenance (creating new
exams, linking to billing system, creating new results reports, setting up exams
orders …).
- Responsible for the daily troubleshooting of hardware and software operational.
issues faced by the lab personnel and floor units while using the application
- Mentor, train and assist users.
- Act as liaison with the LIS supplier on software upgrades, bugs fixing. in addition
to preparing the new procedures and plans for the implementation of the
remaining parts of the project; Blood Bank and Anatomy - Pathology.
- Seek to develop and apply the best practices to facilitate the use of the
application and ensure its compliance with the hospital policies and ISO.
● Participate in the analysis, design and development of new applications.
● Maintain routinely the existing application and assist in case of emergency application
trouble.
● Participate in the study and the development of internal procedures and KPIs(Quality
System, ISO) .
