Contributed to creating an event planning company, catering to weddings, social events and corporate events.
•Put together the business plan, created the corporate identity and developed the marketing strategy.
•Oversaw the process from initial meetings with the client to creating event themes and design to event execution.
•Liaised with suppliers, managed staff responsibilities, coordinated event activities, and created and managed budget sheets.
•Events were managed in a timely manner and within the specified budget and exceeded client expectations.
• Joined Ayshaya as an Assistant General Manager in PF Chang’s Mall of Emirates.
• Managed 135 employees in a fast paced environment and took on the task of Host Manager. Within a few month, was also given the responsibility for all the servers in the third busiest PF Chang’s location worldwide.
• Promoted to Senior Assistant Manager, and was given the responsibility of taking over the role of GM during anytime the GM was offsite or on vacation.
• Managed the vacation, annual leave, of the entire 135 staff members.
• Worked freelance in events, handled VIP guest relations for many high profile brands such as Chanel, Cartier, and Maserati.
• At the Chanel Little Black Jacket Exhibition, directed contact between the brand and VIP guests. Accommodated the needs of Chanel’s VIP guests and ensured guests followed the itinerary, and organized transportation.
• Managed events such as Art Dubai for Abraaj Group, formula One at Yas Circuit, Fashion Forward, DP World Tour Golf Championship and traveled abroad for IFHAR Horse Races for HH Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.
• Managed and organized corporate events including global forums and conferences. Was responsible for networking and increasing clientele.
Table/Bottle Service
•Worked at SBE’s exclusive Hollywood lounge as a table/bottle service host for the VIP guests during regular hours and for private events. Provided excellent customer service to high profile guests while building strong customer rapports, as well as driving sales. While Hyde was my base, I was given the opportunity to work many of the SBE private events including the birthday party of the founder of SBE, Sam Nazarian, in his private residence. Was also part of the training team for the expansion of Hyde Lounge at Staples Center Arena in Downtown LA and Hyde Lodge at Big Bear Ski Resort.
•Generated ideas and strategies to develop the Hyde vision in new locations.
